Man, great videos. I've always been interested in oil and oil wells, how it works, and how to invest. All other videos I've seen are more like a documentary, full of nonsense. Your videos are good and simple. Thank you so much. Keep it up.

Liked and subscribed. I drove Trucks for decades. I would see those oil wells with the hit and miss engines and a flame burning. I even stopped and watched them a few times. I like all things mechanical.

Only been maintaining some wells for a few years. Didn't know anything about it previously. Unhappy to learn about the power conduits. Guess I have some work to do.

I am amazed how many sites you are finding with tank batteries with NO FIREWALLS.... a lighting strike, tank blows and the entire 40 acres burns up.... and that site looks old AF. Could be pay there, could you do a video on water flooding?

Probably a stupid question but i know NOTHING about this industry... For the stuck pump rod cant you just use a jeep jack or floor jack and rig a line around rod slowely jacking up then move gripping line down amd Jack up again until its out?? Like instead of paying for pull rig???
@OilMutt2 жыл бұрын
I’ve actually looked at making something like that

@@OilMutt Look up "Bac Industries Field rod/post puller BG-15"... Its probably not strong enough for your use case, but you could copy and modify design with stronger materials... There is also a "Jackco Pulling power package" that comes with a hydraulic portapack and anchor pots.

No you just get rig in there and strip it out.

Wow ..excellent video..🔥🔥🔥 I have no clue about these things .. just trying to learn .. thanks for the info By the way, what’s your opinion on buying land with an active oil well. I mean i don’t know how much production is there or anything but I was thinking the land itself could be valuable. Just in case there’s no oil, can we use the land for something else? And on a 10 or 20 acre land, what else can be done while there’s an active oil well?

It all depends on the lease and minerals. There’s a lot to that question

What kind of leases can I get for the area of $250,000?
@OilMutt2 жыл бұрын
Can get decent leases. The main thing is buying wells that still are good at $60 oil

@@OilMutt Hey thanks for the response. I was just talking with a friend about your videos. Shared some with him! As for the issue you posed; would it be better to focus on smaller, or shallower wells in greater numbers, instead of larger setups? Or is it just a matter of production in general? Just thinking out loud, excuse the (possibly) stupid questions. I've got a good year at minimum to study up before I start actively seeking out potential leases. I want to be as prepaired as I can! Do you have any content on selling in's & outs? I've got a long standing investment relationship with XOM & in my own mind, selling to them pleases me. Not sure if there'd be any further benefits, that's because I don't know much about this scene! Again, thanks for sharing the knowledge!
