Sorry to tell you, it's staged. The "soldier" is not, and it's made up. Too many things don't line up, and it's a great simulation, but isn't real.

unfortunately its fake. there are numerous things wrong with how the "son" presents himself. Just to name a few: 1. The way he is saluting is wrong 2. His left hand is in the wrong place to salute 3. He's not even standing correctly to salute 4. His sleeves are unbuttoned (you dont salute with sleeves unbuttoned) Literally nobody would be this out of uniform. especially since this guy is claiming to be an NCO.

do not be depressed by this, American Soldiers Volunteer to serve, we do (or did) the nation's business of either showing the flag to prevent those who think they can misbehave, or prove to them that they shouldn't have when they try to. when you serve you know (or you should anyway) that you are that barrier that will stop and drive back evil. regardless of its origin. you're Standing Post , 1st General Order is "I will guard everything within the limits of my post and quit my post only when properly relieved" stand the post, when relieved, come home and relax with your family knowing that you have been there and done that. never be depressed about defending this country.

I can say this, I have teared up and cried over each of these in turn and all others shown, because that is such sweet joy for them and sadness (not jealous in nature,) that I never got to know those emotions after 4+ years in the U.S. Navy. I b watch everyone of these on FB, and tearfully enjoy the genuine happines each shows. I admit some of the Mom's and G'Moms F - bombs surprise me.

When I watch people meeting their Soldier friends/parents/partners. I don't cry and I say: “Wow this is heart warming ♥️” Now, watching a compilation. It feels more different of seeing different people's reactions on how they will react. It just makes me cry of happiness for them. ♥️

I still remember coming home from Vietnam, flying into San Francisco and being spit on. I remember the shouts and the names I was called. I didn't want to go to that godforsaken place, but what was almost as bad was my homecoming. Thank you america.

My sister was in Nam, but was not properly recognized until she took our parents on an Honor flight, and she thanked her time in service also. I retired from the AF after 24 years and enlisted to avoid the Army and Nam. I figured one family member in Nam was enough.

My dad was deployed several times when I was a kid. Things aren’t like when you’re an adult and sometimes days run together. Every day you wake up thinking about your dad being away. It’s hard to control yourself as a kid when the day comes that you finally get to see your dad again.

Ok at 1st everything was cool. But then the old man stood up for his son! I can't watch any more of this great video. I'm 50 and that shit touched me. I understood what was in the message of him standing up for his son!!! The water filled up in my eyes so quick I thought I had allergies!!!
