I have also seen that when I connect to the positive and negative of the switchboard that comes on the door, after 10-20 days they stop working

It can be done. I think as long as all the parts are there it wouldn't be a problem. I don't think it needs coding but would need to look into it further

hi there, I think that case its best to tap into the live and earth for the front door modules. I have noticed this doesn't always work on some cars so best to go about it that way on the front doors.
