Hi guys I was plannig to do something similar to my Passat b7, but on the dash i would install 2 led pieces, on the top of the trim. Do you believe i could tap in the cigarette lighter cables with one led piece, and with the other, in the light switch ones?

It can be done. I think as long as all the parts are there it wouldn't be a problem. I don't think it needs coding but would need to look into it further

hi there, I think that case its best to tap into the live and earth for the front door modules. I have noticed this doesn't always work on some cars so best to go about it that way on the front doors.
