The most expensive costume was very striking and was one of the most luxurious within the Brazilian carnival community in Brazil has ever witnessed in a contest. It was priced around 15K USD.
The costume represented an Egyptian Queen and included fireworks that surprised and amazed the crowd, specialized media, and fans. Congratulations Leticia!
Carnival costumes are very expensive and normally handmade. This was the single top value Costume ever crafted in Brazil for a single performance. Her samba dancer routine as you will see was also literally perfect.
Letícia Guimaraes has been previously elected twice as the official Rio Carnival Princess on this same contest, the most important of Brazil, and on this year, 2014, she won the first prize becoming the Rio 2014 Official Queen of Carnival. Below, a small summary of the competition:
On November 8th 2014, Rio de Janeiro's official tourism body called RIOTUR selected the Queen of Carnival for the season in a tough competition. The presentation had 8 candidates who had to respond to questions from a qualified jury, and later they had a little more than one and half a minute to show their samba dance routine with her Carnival Costume with feathers. This was the first time Leticia was crowned a Full Carnival Queen of Rio de Janeiro.

Do you know what kind of diet and exercise routines these dancers do to get how they are? They look like godesses! lol :)

Hello, they bascically go through a protein diet and workout weights and cardio 3 to 4 times a week. Also , they must practice their samba routines also at least 3 times a week for 2 /3 hours, since most of them belong to some kind of samba-school. They also do some aesthetics treatment. I would say its almost a full year of preparation. And then there is the costume, they have to think about and make the ajustments. Thanks
