Raoul Pal, the founder and CEO of Global Macro Investor and Real Vision says, “I think it will happen at a shocking speed.” Raoul expects that the recession will happen in a matter of months, similar to 1974.
Robert Kiyosaki and Raoul Pal discuss the current state of the world economy, the potential for a severe recession, and the implications for individuals and investors.
💰 Raoul Pal predicts that the world is heading into one of the greatest economic challenges since World War II, with the potential for a rapid financial downturn in the next few months.
📉 The bond market is a key indicator to watch, as bonds have been rallying, signaling a need for caution and preparation for potential market disruptions.
📈 There is a possibility for great opportunities in commodity stocks, technology, and other assets during the market downturn, offering potential for wealth generation.
🏠 Real estate, especially involving office spaces, is undergoing a structural shift due to changing work patterns, with opportunities emerging in other sectors such as biotech and sustainable investments.
Hosts Robert and Kim Kiyosaki and guest Raoul Pal discuss exactly what is happening in the world’s economy, the likeness of a recession, and if there’s a depression in our future.

@Brian Forsyth that is only an option if you have a job!. Look at the numbers for layoffs. Granted we have a decrease in the number of people out looking for work but when the money dries up it can be a very BIG problem just to make payments on the assets you have. Believe me, unlike you young people I have lived through everyone of these recessions. Theory is great but reality bites. If you have saved through the boom you maybe able to buy an asset in the downturn. You know what they say, "hindsight is 20/20". It is easy to look back and compare and predict bases on the past. The problem with that is the situations were all different. It doesn't take many variables to totally change the situation. I have never seen a "perfect storm" situation as we are seeing today.

I believe that the fear and greed index with a new low value of 6 reflects how the crypto market reacts to a full blown recession. Yes, there were crypto bear markets in the past, either caused by regular cycles or extraordinary events such as COVID, but we never experienced a true economical recession in the crypto market. Keep in mind that crypto market is just another financial market (meaning that is 100% dependent on major macro economic events) and is more volatile than other markets (which is a good thing, cause that offers long term opportunity to get rich in an extended timeframe meaning buying like crazy during these times and selling at the peak of the next bull market - whenever that may be). The only "catch" is that you must NOT buy speculative cryptos (aka sh*tcoins), but the biggest, most "boring" coins right now (BTC, ETH, BNB) with big utility and market cap that will not go to 0 until the end of this bear market. I buy and just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 19` btc from day trading with Shirley Bagshaw Crypto in few weeks this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish. It's utterly self-defeating to think you can time the market. Of course a crash is coming. There's always one coming. I invested through the dot-com crash, the 2008 financial crisis crash, the 2011 debt crisis crash, and of course last year's pandemic crash. I never sold stocks out of fear the market was overvalued, and I never sold during any of these market dives. I did take profits here and there in individual stocks that I thought had gotten expensive, but overall I kept my portfolio intact. And the market overall has continued to rise all through my 25 years as an active investor. I was there in 1996 when Greenspan warned of "irrational exuberance." Care to guess where the DJIA was trading then? Near 6,000. It's 31,680 now despite the three major crashes it's been through since.

The media drives public knowledge via political propaganda, as fed to them by their masters, the wealthy elite who own every major institution, political party, as well as their leaders. Hard to believe, but that's the big truth that very few people talk about. Their agenda is "A New World Order", which sounds wonderful, but doesn't include you and me, hence the dead bodies piling up at morgues all over the world. Too much to believe? Insurance companies are seeing death rates 40% higher than normal. In times of all-out war, that number 5%. No propaganda here. The deaths are all vax-related. The media won't expose this because they are part of it, and have been from the beginning.

He had a model T given free from my Granddad, and he drove it until 1952 when he bought a Kaiser. Now, picture everything else knocked down that way. He made me my toys. And out of that came technology. We can all live a much more frugal existence. Even with a really bad collapse. We will all go on. And for those who cannot provide, the rest will provide. If you are needy, all you need to see is folks who need food. At that point, food will be provided. *20mins timestamp* I don’t think this explanation fully describes what happens with money debasement/printing money. It’s not scarcity/common dynamic. It’s more direct than that, it directly takes value from the existing money supply, therefore diluting the value of the money in your pocket, your bank, and the money you will receive. It’s a stealth tax, in a simplified explanation if you double the money supply you halve the value of the pre existing money. Anything they hand you from printing was your money in the first place.

You have £10, you print £10, now you have £20, except your £20 can only buy what your £10 could buy, you gain nothing. Now instead you have £10 and the government prints £10, hands you £1 and gives itself and friends £9. You think you’ve gained £1, but you’ve lost value. The numbers go up but the value goes down, and their friends get money for free and the public is too stupid to realise.

Just remember priority number 1 Mark. 8 Verses 34 to 38 [36] For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? [37] Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? It okay to be rich and obtain wealth if you can handle it because with great wealth requires sacrifices. But to be consumed in being rich and at the end lose your soul because you were looking more to your richest then your spiritual life and relationship with God! Would be a tragic mistake! We are not taking nothing with us when we leave this earth. It will be left for the rest to feast on! Something to always keep in mind!

I guess it is my turn to share a little story, make of it what you will. "Once upon a time, there lived my "crazy uncle Jo". As a child uncle Jo loved playing with kids his age. They played marbles. Small spheres (pebbles) made of glass that you through around playing a variety of games on the dirt road (not much asphalt back then). Uncle was pretty good at it and won over the other children, the wager being their marbles after each game. The issue was, that at some point uncle had won all of the neighborhood's marbles. So uncle had a new challenge. What could he do to keep the game going on? He ended up finding a solution. He climbed on the roof of one of the houses and summoned all the "broke" marbleless kids. After keeping a portion of marbles for himself (the best ones) he proceeded to randomly throwing down and distributing excess marbles to the kids that were under that roof. In that action he found great delight." Moral of the story : Do not lose your marbles, no need for heavy drinking.

America is currently plagued by the hydra-headed evvil duo of inflation and recession. The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. Raoul made some great comments from a historical context on inflation, etc. However, his tomes do not reflect certain 2023-22 realities, like finite petro resources to extract-forget fracking (a joke). Robert is in a bit of a daze when he make attributes to the + Keystone pipeline with its 1M barrel annual solution (and I am from Calgary-the 3rd most livable city in the world after Zurich and Copenhagen) - maybe the new Dubai except for trudeau(LOL) ruining Western Canadian options for his own political gain)). Raoul not unlike Robert live in a semi-fantasy/Disney world where economics is not dictated by scarcity of resources (not labor or infinite MMT for a fiat currency). Do they think those so-called Smartphone can be built by Apple without a infinite supply of rare metals, I cud go on n on but both of these guys (good intentions) fail to focus on the macro issues like scarcity of oil, fertilizer, rare metals, depleted selenium in Ca. for ag products, etc. However, I appreciate their perspective versus the chatter and irrelevance of talking/vacuous air heads on MSNBC Money and Reuters, etc..

Scarcity of resources is fearmongering and false predictions at best. Earth was supposed to run out of oil by now, but due to new extraction processes and rising oil price that incentivize discovery of new deposits, we have more oil reserves than ever even when compared to total consumption. Africa is pretty much unexplored and so is south america. Also mining asteroids might be closer than we expect, maybe only two or three business cycles away. That's why China intentionally clutters earth's orbit. So that no-one (americans) gets a head start.

The thing that blows my mind about no global growth is there is still so many opportunities for people to build something. I think the picture of "Net no growth" is missing the picture that there are 100s of things decaying, but maybe nearly as many new things in genesis. For example the US is short on homes of an appropriate size for a largely single population. We're short on ways to give people purpose now that they're not having kids. We can build food supplies to replace the lost trade with Ukraine/Russia . See how there are still so many opportunities around us to be leaders and entrepreneurs, solving market problems through market solutions.
