I have a motorcyle with sidecar and a V.W. trike i build long ago so now i was going to get one of those racing trike to exercise with but decide that I will be 75 years old and get the same model you have right here in the video. I am sick many times due to my flu shot 2019 for 6 weeks and end up with Covid 19. Then a reaction again 2-times. I do small boat sailing and kayak when I can and thought this trike would be real good for jaunts around area where I live to enjoy cruising 5-20 miles as permitted daily instead of waste gas. Used to commute 20-25 miles each day when I was in my late 20's on my 10 speed bike round trip daily Always take different routes hills flat whatever. With the way it is is more sufficient for my age and still get some exercises without getting to radical and possible die from stupidity.

Try setting the top speed to 0 (zero). On some bikes it unlocks the top speed just like setting it to 99 or 100. Really enjoy your videos.

I'm not gonna knock it because it's an etrike. It would be great for older folks or maybe partial handicap etc. Easier to handle than a big heavy mobility scooter and less money. Thanks for the review!

I have a 750watt Ebike brand new (3 hour usage)- that I can no longer ride safely due to balance issues. My only option is an Etrike as I have already fallen and injured myself greatly. I am looking to get rid of my month old Boogie Cruiser at a low cost or free. Yeah, a Trike is dorky as hell, but I have no other choice.

As a prepper, I like it for TEOTWAWKI SHTF COLLAPSE staring us in the face - it's just another prep like the water collection system, garden, meat production, solar oven, rocket stove, reserve pantry, medical and medicine supply's, the SOLAR GENERATOR CHARGED Trike would take care of transportation when cars are just yard ornaments - just put it away for that day

That thing is packed full of good features. Cool you can fold it a bit. Could be useful in a mini van or a short bed pick-up truck.

OK I guess if there's not traffic. The Escalades around here would flatten this before you could dodge. My 10 speed Spectra lives in another state - I got groceries with it in my graduate school days, but I wouldn't ride a bike on my local roads.

I would add a second battery to the water bottle mount and add in a battery blender to increase the range. Definitely a nice little commuter bike with good cargo capacity.

Do not put higher voltage Battery It can burn up some components or shorter life span. But higher amps is ok look at amps as a gas tank in your car the higher the more fuel for distance.

I bought a Belize 20inch fat tire trike and put a 48volt 750 watt rickshaw motor changed the e motor sprocket to 20 tooth put a mall as possible freewheel sprocket and it hauls am now stretching the frame where you walk through 6 inch’s to put a seat with a back again the seat down tube will put the pedals up front to power the edits much more aerodynamic and much less prone to tipping

I grew up with an electric bike and knew nothing about non-electric ones. However, I always found bikes without batteries intriguing. One day, my battery died, and I had to walk my bike home for miles. Along the way, a guy asked why I didn’t just pedal, and it hit me, I never realised I could use the pedals even if the battery was dead. From that day, I sold my electric bike and got a regular one. It was a complete game changer for me since it doesn't need charging and can go for miles without any hassle, which would be unthinkable with an ebike.

Have a Sun E Trike, it is OK but the top speed is 10.5 to 12 mph. Sometimes I wish it would go faster.

I ride a cadence sensor ebikes. I am partially disabled and can’t produce enough muscle power to take full advantage of a torque sensor. I test rode a couple bikes with torque sensors and it was too difficult for me.

This bike can get you around if you break your leg testing a 6,000 watt scooter. Put your oxygen tank in the basket if you have a collapsed lung or what not.😁

What are the benefits of a trike compared to a regular bike? While I can't see any benefit aside from the trike being able to stand without a kickstand, it seems to have a lot of downsides.

It's just a chill ride for older people such as myself. The town I live in banned all ebikes except for class 1 pedal assist 1 (no throttle) right from the beginning. This could be a mobility assist vehicle and circumvent local government corruption.

Because of her illness, my wife has balance problems. She has a lot of trouble with her Lectric XP3. Maybe a trike would get her on the trails. I love my Kepler but I can see a place for trikes.

I ordered two trikes they came scratched bent fender bolt that makes the fold part work was crossthreded it took several texes an phone calls and an45 days to get the part could not use trike until got that part was supposed to get free helmeted never got them10 Tex a voice messages . Stillwating customer service has done nothing yet .did just got new fender after- days . Not happy with customer service

Looks ridiculous until you turn 70 years old and have balance problems. Trikes serve a niche market. If you are young and nimble - they are not for you. If you are old, have knee or joint problems or balance issues and still want to get out and motor the streets - perfect!

When that happens I'll ride a trike and when I can't ride the trike I'll ride a scooter. And when I can't ride the scooter I'll have an electric wheelchair - never give up!

60 miles? TH will regurgitate anything his free bike suppliers tell him to. And these trikes are unsafe at any speed...you can't turn over 5mph or you'll tip over. I know because I own TWO. But I modified mine so now I can turn at over 10mph safely. Top speed is 15mph.
