I respect your stuff alot so I gotta ask for some research by you. So my friend that played some games in Hcs and got applauded by a referee but he clearly could feel the other players using 1. Modded controllers and that the referees stated we can't waste time to check the player like I'm being told that most of the top players are using either cronus or modded controllers to gain a edge against other players

As an Onyx 1500 player with 20+ years of Halo, I can confirm I still haven’t learned this skill. At least not to the extent of the upper competitive class.

It’s really the one skill that takes you from good player to great player. You can have the best shot and win all your ego challs but halo is a smart mans game

Awareness and spawn prediction are the two main things I have to work on in halo

He should always grab a 2nd weapon just to play it safe. Also Over heated plasma weapons recharge in pocket you can hear it cooling down even on the other weapon so you know on audio que when it's ready

Also make sure u upgrade system and monitor…you will always lag behind someone if they have better system than u…went from series one to Xbox series x and I jumped from Gold 3 to Plat 5 in a few days…make sure your monitor /TV is 120 FPS the higher the frames the better you’ll be ahead of your opp if your FPS are better than his/her…other than that listen to this guy😝

Thanks for those insightful contents ! Diamond 1 here, quite new to the ranked (basically a Gears of war player, been Onyx on S1 and back here for 2 months now. ) I learned some positions useful for live fire and better ways to cover the map together as a team . Now that I fixed my aim , I am currently trying to guess where the respawns are , what to do to counter , pre shot some bases to give me space enough to flank an ally’s enemy . Still some jumps I should not do , but hey, I’m young at that game :) still need to get a lot of knowledge . I’m quite staying at D1 for now, knowing I need to improve my aiming and unlock something to get a little bit higher . But I will remember if I get stuck for too long to ask for a review you could share :)

I’ve been D4-Onyx 1500 since release depending on my dedication at the time. My awareness is off the charts but at 38, I just don’t have the aim to keep up anymore.

@@bboochythat’s why he’s around Onyx all the time. Once you get up there, you just have to be super cracked. Awareness helps a lot. There are many people who have never achieved onyx. A lot of that is awareness related. Once you get to a certain point though, you just have to either hit your shots or die.

Age shouldn’t be a factor with aim, it’s just muscle memory, you need to practice aim training, there are 40 yr old F1 drivers, they keep training

I don't understand why after you die and switch through teammate POVs it has the camera angled sideways so that you can't see anything going on and it makes you pan the camera to the back of the player. If there is a setting to fix it then someone please tell me.

Yes! Don't get bit by the snake when it's down to one shot. Just shoot or reload and then shoot. Don't get to close to take damage.

My biggest problem is 9/10 games my shots will be delayed with pings constantly above 80. Love the game, wish the networking was better. The network team mode is fun because shots actually register

Okay as a platinum player who plays in diamond lobbies with friends idk how this dude got to diamond, he has no aim no movement nothing. That is the problem with the hidden mmr, people like this should be in low plat lobbies and people like myself should have been placed higher. I won all 6 of my placement games and had a good kda and got silver 5 and had to work all the way up to plat 4. People like this get diamond or high plat for their placement. It’s broken

Is this your first ranked season? If it is then you will get placed higher next season because you will have more MMR history. If it is not your first ranked season then you are just Platinum level; people place higher because they have higher MMR so their placement games were against players that were better than the ones in your games.
