I have spend some time filming and photographing the Cormorants in Denmark in the areas around Copenhagen.
I wanted to make an episode with visuals and facts of this loved & hated bird. The footage is mainly from a location called Vaserne and from Gilleleje harbor in Northern Zealand in Denmark.
The gear used to make alle the visuals, speaks etc. are Sony A1, Sony G-master 600mm f4 with and without teleconverters and and on a video tripod from E-image and also the DJI pocket 2 and the fantastick Mini 3 pro drone.
Dont forget to like, share and subscribe!

New viewer here. Beautiful video in California. We don’t have the Great Cormorant, but we do have three other species: the Brandt’s and Pelagic found only in coastal waters, and the Double-crested, found both on coastal waters and in inland waters. I’ve never heard that they were called the most hated bird in the world, but then again I’ve never talked with a commercial fisherman about this. anyway great video. Keep up the good work.

Thanks I have been watching the Great Cormorants on Lake Ontario, and I also have some great pictures of them during a full moon last Fall overlooking the Hudson River. Today a friend showed me their breeding grounds and the tree looked like something out of Jurassic Park! (That many big birds in one place is a little jarring!) I did not know much about them, thank you for this.

I hope you have done something different to the quality of this video because if not my iPhone sucks at showing the fantastic detail of everything you produced. @@DennisJacobsenWildlife Ok, I read something and the real problem is our presence in the planet. Human interest goes in conflict with nature, like cormorants that eat fishes, so we tend to eliminate the problem "deleting" the cause, I mean the cormorants, so the feeling of hate for them. Human is so stupid.... Sorry Dennis for this comment, if you want to cancel is not a problem. Take care.

Yes the always abundant and most easiest bird to get started in bird wildlife photography here in the USA in the great state of Florida found in the Everglades National Park area. They have cast iron stomachs as I seen them catch fish half their size flip them in the air and swallow them whole. No table manners at all but fun to photograph. BTW what Sony lens and tele-converter combination was used so I get an idea of distance from subject. Thanks in advance, good job.
