@@FrightNightScares I know the McRaven home is considered the most haunted in the state of Mississippi. The Vicksburg National Battlefield Park is a known hotspot for paranormal. Natchez is an old town full of old antebellum homes that are haunted.
@maryanngreatbatch9317 ай бұрын
I went to both those places see antebellum had strange feeling in one of Vicksburg mansions in certain rooms. I wasn't creeped out in any but one building in Gettysburg . Wasn't antebellum, now a tourist trinket store

@FrightNightScares If you Google haunted Vicksburg, I know you will find some bed and breakfasts in old Civil War era mansions. One, the owners won't even go onto one of the floors of the mansion. They are afraid of the ghosts up there. But they lived there for years. I don't know that I would be able to not use a floor of my own house. I am a bit more comfortable with ethereal and spirits though. They are all around us. Some of us pay attention to our 6th sense and know this. Others ignore their 6th sense because they really aren't comfortable with things they cannot explain or touch.

I'm from Clarksdale MS and grew up around my grandparents funeral business and played in the family cemetery as a kid. I could always feel certain energies around me. Lived in my great grandmother's home for a while and experienced strange events sometimes. My father said his grandmother would visit or speak to him in that house sometimes. I remember sleeping by the window in back room of house and hearing an loud banging on window by bed and when I would open curtain nothing was there. Just eriee

12:45 You should really check out Vicksburg, MS. The haunted places there are too numerous to list, but the most notable place is known as the most haunted place in Mississippi. It’s known as McRaven and dates back to the 1700’s. It was initially built by a notorious highwayman who robbed those who traveled the Natchez Trace. He died when his wife cut his throat. The second owner was the first Sheriff of Warren County whose wife died in childbirth around the age of 13-15. The Bobb family owed the home during the Civil War and Mr. Bobb was the first civilian killed during the Union occupation of the City. The home was also used as a hospital during the Siege of Vicksburg. I have had several experiences during tours of the house and feel certain there are many spirits there. As I stated at the beginning, the haunted places in Vicksburg, including the National Park, are way too numerous to list.

@karenclare4241 Mississippi is a good place to retire to because of the good prices of land and houses. I pray that stays that way. Oxford, MS, has the best cardiology hospital in the area. It was voted best city to retire to. That was many years back, but I doubt that has changed.
@noofey7 ай бұрын
Mississippi is cheap bc we are the poorest state in the nation. Great to retire? We are ranked 2nd most dangerous state in the nation, and guess what? Number 1 is our neighboring state. From best to worst, we are literally 50th in road safety and 49th in financial safety. No matter where u decide to live, u won't be more than 2 hours away from the top most dangerous cities in the state. Clarksdale is number one, then Vicksburg, Meridian is dangerous, Jackson is dangerous and broke down. U can barely even get clean water there. Memphis is in TN, but that's only an hr or so from pretty much every North MS city. There are much better places to retire in the south other than Mississippi.

Mississippi is a horrible state and i promise you this heat is unbearable. Its not safe, there is NOTHING to do, jobs pay low, no scenic landscapes at all. Literally any other state is better than this one.

Im from around the Tupelo area, being a independent filmmaker, my wife and our group has investigated several areas. I was filming my 1st horror feature "Boomer's Cell" in an old original jailhouse when 2 of the actors left bc of seeing an entity in a cell in the upper floor. We have been to Waverly a few times, the nxt time you are covering MS., if you will go South on 45 from West Point, you will come into Columbus, MS. There is where you can find Nash Road, that is the most creepiest road anytime of the day, but especially at night. It holds an urban legend known as the 3 Legged Lady road, or the Which of Columbus. I have a few videos on my page that we did on sone ghost hunts. Feel free to check them out. Awesome video, thanks for sharing.

Nobody should clean anyone else's property. Stones are not public property. I wouldn't want anyone chemically treating any of my family stones. Don't touch other people's property. Just like people know better than to wash a car sitting in a parking lot, they know it is someone else's property. Same for grave stones.

At 7:58" the Choctaw"??? That is strange. The Choctaw native American tribe hails from extremely north western region. Hmmmmm. Worth looking up the details on this project for clarity. My moms dad, his mom was part Choctaw. They came from Walla Walla , Washington State. As did many other Choctaw people, nearby that area, includes my old friend Moonlight. Same tribe, north western America. Interesting development in the story 🤔👏👌👍👀😀🤔
