Going back to the 80s Ichan is the poster boy for corporate raider. He, like his other raiders, deserve SOME credit for shaking up complacent managers and freeing up underperforming assets. It’s really ironic that Ichan talks about reputation. His MO is to leverage to the teeth, and then liquidate. Carl has never built or run anything in his life. He’s a numbers guy. He’s a liquidator. He’s a grave dancer. All tolled, he’s been bad for most businesses he’s been involved in, though not for himself. Ackerman is right about Ichan.

@@shawn8425 mb sorry. I disagree with how he made the money (that option shouldnt exist) but good for him. I also dont care for his interview. Some of what i gained is probably due to him causing people to overreact. Lets just wait and see how this situation is developeing. He and others might loose a lot in the comming crash. Banks are looking worse than ever and the market is extremely inflated (yes i bought the dip for a quick profut but i allready exited the market). A lot of robin hood traders will loose a lot. Stop living with the hyper-convenient fantasy that rich people are bad, or that being poor is intrinsically moral. Stop revering mediocrity. Go out, start a tech company or some other scalable business, become a success story, and stop using rhetorical tools like the one you used to isolate yourself from any responsibility. Telling yourself rich people are thieves is ultimately just a tool to fuel laziness and mediocrity, and make yourself feel better about not starting a business and becoming rich yourself. After all, if you have any vision for how to improve the world, you're doing everyone around you an immense disservice by not working to implement said improvements. Scum.

Mario Rwanda it’s a Wall Street jargon of 20 percent down, Icahn was trying to tell that bill was looking to pounce on that instead of being holier than thou about herbalife

Kinda crazy in hindsight to know that Icahn made $1B holding long while Ackman lost $1B on the short and eventually had to give up. I read that they eventually made up though.

Icahn is correct. Ackmann is a liar. Worst rep on Wallstreet. True 100%. Latest example: shouting for 30 days lock down and profiting in from lock down.
