The inspection process is to make sure you receive all the items in its original state as shown by the shop that sold it to you. if there is any problem afterwards, you can simply click return, and they will have shipper come to your place to pick up the items and return to the shop. Usually they ship them back to Shopee warehouse to inspect and then quickly return your money to your Shopee wallet within a day I think.

2:45 Shopee will let you inspect and make inquiry within 7 days after delivery. Then, if 7 days pass and you dont claim anything, Shopee will charge you for the package. The delivery guy only asked you to sign for his delivery in acceptable condition that needs quick inspection right when delivery is made. If you are not there and ask him to leave the package in the building, then this step is waived without affecting your return condition with Shopee.

I have a dog 🐶 question! 👋🏾 I heard that you have to keep your dog on a muzzle during walks because people leave poison meat on the streets to kill dogs. Is this true? I cant and dont want to muzzle my dog because he has tracheal collapse. 😢
@TravelWithNala4 ай бұрын
Yes I've heard that too. Usually it's to kill rats but some people do target dogs too because there are so many strays here. My building required dogs to wear muzzles in the elevators and lobby so we got Nala a big cage muzzle where she has enough room to open her mouth comfortably. That's one option. We don't muzzle her on walk but we don't let her sniff around in overgrown area. We stick to open sidewalks and there are lot of nice parks in Da Nang with well trimmed grassy areas.
@samuri20114 ай бұрын
@@TravelWithNalathank you! I see... I'm thinking of renting a house so maybe I won't have the muzzle issue for that part.. I'll think this over. At first I thought Redditors were just exaggerating or being racist, but then I heard some other people say it so now I'm a bit worried. I don't take my dog out much anyways. I saw some picture that someone sent me who said they found pork meat bones at Marble Mountain. I guess it was poison cuz it was just some unfinished bones. Do other Vietnamese locals muzzle their dogs when they're out of the house?
@TravelWithNala4 ай бұрын
@@samuri2011 unfortunately it is true but maybe overexaggerated on how common it is. Most Vietnamese people don't have their dogs on leashes they just roam around like cats. Better safe than sorry. I think if you're just paying attention to your dog when you're outside then you should be fine.
@samuri20114 ай бұрын
@@TravelWithNala okay thanks so much for saying! that's really helpful to know. I pay attention to my dog and I don't let him roam around because he's a velcro dog. Hahah! But ofc I wouldn't know for sure being all the way over here in the US still. I guess I can always pick up my dog in some less maintained area and I have a backpack for him too so maybe we'll be fine. I got freaked out because the support at PAWS rescue said even sniffing the poison can kill them and my dog is small.

If you're not happy with having to check your order on the sidewalk in front of your building, you can always move back to the US and deal with other bigger problems such as having your packages stolen from in front of your house, and the police refused to do anything about it. Maybe the delivery person in Vietnam is not allowed to go into your house? I do know that the USPS, UPS... delivery people are not allowed into people homes in the US.
