I love chicken feet. When they are slow stewed with spices the taste is amazing and the jelly-like chew from the collagen is great for you. I'm American and don't find eating chicken feet odd at all.

My Quang is my favorite dish. If you visit Dalat you should try My Quang there. It still keeps its original ingredients and how it's cooked. It beats all My Quang styles across the country. I grew up in Dalat back in 70's.

Mỳ Quảng means noodle from Quảng nam, the province that Đà nẵng belonged to in the past. You said mỳ Quảng in Đà lạt is original style ,why in the homeland it is not?

It happens but not for the Frenchie. It's considered a prize dog so it would probably be sold. It's very sad. It happens but if it's not as rampant as you many think. As long as your dogs are roaming around by themselves you should be fine.

I haven't found any good pho in the An Thuong area. Need to try the Nudo restaurant. Is it too hot for your dog in VN? 20K per KG is average. I paid 25k before but now at my new place, it's 20K.

Yeah, especially the girls cover up like they are vampires... if sunlight touches their skin, they will burn up. 😆 Little windbreaker style jackets have flaps that cover the top of the hand. Masks over the face. Wide hat brimstone. Yeah, totally covered up.

Fun fact: dog meat consumption is not illegal in the US and there are rural areas in the states that eat dogs as well. Same with Korea, China, and other countries. Rural areas eat what they need to survive and I don't judge. It's not like people are walking around the streets snacking on dogs all day. Chill.

Perception of dog meat consumption in some Asian countries is blown way out of proportion. The vast majority don't do it. This is why traveling is important to see the reality on the ground.
