I don't know if you'll read this but I wanted to thank you for a couple of things. First off thanks for the spotlights on the lesser known skateboarding games for me to check out. I'm almost 40 now and my body just can't skate in real life anymore due to my health. Session felt just like a video game version of how skateboarding made me feel when I was young. By the feel of it so far SkateLab seems like it's going to push that feeling even farther with the physics. So thanks for letting an aging gamer / former skater about these games that I otherwise may have missed. Also the difficulty of Session meant that it took me a while to get good at, so watching your videos helped me get better not to mention helping me get the historic challenges. I was going through a rough time a few years back and thankfully Session was a place I could go to escape it for a while and your videos helped me through it as well. So thank you for these videos for many reasons, silly as it may seem to some people they mean something to me. P.S. - I used to skate so I love skate games obviously but I am a big fan of a lot of BMX, rollerblade, scooter, motocross, ATV, snowboarding, etc. type games so I'd like to see more games like that too. The one I'm looking forward to the most is Streetdog BMX.

maybe I'm weird or just got into Session later than most, but I'm still 100% hooked on it! Just got into modding it about 2 weeks ago and some of these maps are just...mmwwahh chefs kiss... good! This game looks cool and I'll keep watching for updates, but i feel no need to switch up from Session currently!

Same here. Session is something special. I’m still absolutely hooked. Since I have my tricks I always learn in skating games venturing outside that has me learning tricks 200hrs in. I still don’t have good hardflips and only really got bs bigflip recently.

I love this game in theory, but there's something about the way that the board flips that seems wrong and I can't put my finger on it. It just seems off to me.

If they would add skaters/characters instead of feet i'd play it, Also maybe change the board up from lookin like a square egg

Its mostly based off of fingerboarding which is why its just feet. Also the shape of the board is an O shape which is pretty common in fingerboarding

@@kenshi4296I said “Mostly” based on off of fingerboarding. There is parts that is supposed to be real. As in skateboarding. Edit: And something I forgot is that instead of shoes you can use fingertips. And one of the levels is kitchen counter with ramps.

Hey JL have you tried Wrekless's Demo yet, its like a wierd mash up of THPS and Skate( stick imputs) yet? it focuses hard on creating stuff and a "social" aspect? it recently came out and tried it for a hour or two already ( great parkbuilder in it imho)

Everyone so caught up with how things Look these days.. so they never consider how games feel while playing and ignore the potential they have. Gotta be more open minded and give games a chance if it’s in the same genre of game you’re into… especially if it’s a game in development during early access. If you really want your feedback to be heard and for the devs consider changes (for ANY game), make the comment constructive by including what specifically you think “looks like complete garbage”.

I like your channel and i watch it for years but this is the type of game i would never play on pc or console. I think it's a stupid mobile game that I would play on my mobile if I was waiting for a train at the station. Who invents such stupid games... Just like true skate. Play the Skate series, I'd rather watch it :)

I will play the skate series don’t worry, but I just want to try the new skateboarding games that are out there occasionally. I’ve been so caught up in Session that I haven’t played anything else. Not telling people they have to play this game, I’m just havin fun with something new and documenting that fun for your entertainment :)
