I like watching you shoot stuff and have fun. Loved it. I had the Siege, it was great but sold it went and with the Adder as the strings were cheaper in the long run.

You can make your own string, that lasts longer, with parachord. Jorg, sling shot channel, has a video about it.
@CazSmith8 ай бұрын
@@markmurto I've got a string rig to make my own strings and it also helps when reserving strings. I'm well into it haha. Making one short string for the Adder instead of a sting and a set of cables for the Siege is a lot less hassle.
@markmurto8 ай бұрын
@@CazSmith you can also make a fletching rig easily. Trying to glue on by hand sucks. I just drop a vein in a slot, lay the shaft exactly in place straight. It's easy for repairing bolts. Surprised no one sells a jig for veins.

I use cardboard behind my main target five,six layers or just use straight cardboard if I have to! You can use whatever you want to tighten the cardboard up. Ratchet straps, tape,rope. Cheap and effective for whatever you're shooting. Cover with plastic if you're in a Rainey place. Hey, thanks for the heads up. Ray

Lol! I experienced the same ordeal after changing out the stock system to the smaller bolts with the magazine. Lost every bolt in the magazine, passed through my cube Target ,I was able to get it on paper but couldn’t get it dialed in @ 25 yards. Took your recommendations and purchased a laser sighting system, just waiting for the Northern Winter to pass. Attn: Have to re-sight the crossbow if you change to the magazine new mount and different height and position. Didn’t like the stock scope, reticle was cooked and decided on a Vortex Venom, quick acquisition, magnification doesn’t seem relevant due to effective hunting range. The small bolts are expensive and proprietary so dialing it in and keeping it there is your best bet. King of wished I picked up the after market system that allows you to stack the full size bolts, at least at 30 plus yds there’s a little arrow shaft exposed to pull it out of the target, the fletching is toast on the small bolts .

Nice I'd like to see the full size myself Definitely.

Dial down the power with the supplied Allen key. The red anodised discs at the front of the limbs have an Allen key nut. Put A white(Supplied on a square sticker paper with crossbow) dot on the Allen key nut at 12 o’clock then dial it down by one full turn back to 12 o’clock on each side. Then dial it down to 6 o’clock.Then again to 12 o’clock. Dial back or forward a quarter turn as per penetration of target once you have got past one full turn and a half. Bear in mind you will have to reset your scope as with less power the same bolt will fall lower on the target. Enjoy!

Carpet is a good back stop. I don’t know if these have been produced but a knock with an LED light and beeper / tracker etc controlled by a key fob thing would help gather lost arrows. And the small bolts are cool as they could be made out of broken compound bow arrows. Thanks for the vid👍I look forward to owning a few crossbows to go with the arsenal of apocalypse weapons already gathered. Cheers Bro 😎

I love these, as an archer in uk I'm looking at getting either the viper or Vlad, but now looking at this hmm options i like. Unfortunately our government want to make brawdhead tips illegal which i find ridiculous considering the amount of people being un alived by a crossbow is near none, especially if you compare it to our knife crime. They simply dont want us to be able to defend our home's.

It’s awesome. The big problem is that it’s too powerful with the small bolts; as you’ve seen, they tend to disappear inside the target. I have the Adder, and that too is almost too powerful for target practice. I practice only as much as needed to ensure I know what I’m doing should the situation arise where it becomes needed. Btw, Jeorg has a new “safety defeat” video so you don’t have to worry about the safety slowing down your repeat shooting. I made my own rendition, and IMO it’s a necessity for rapid shooting.
