@@BeachBomberFishing i was going to say for connecting your leader to the PL release it makes it easier to place the drone on a table ( or any elevated surface than connect the leader to PL release. turn off the drone. place the drone back on the ground, then start from there that way you don't have to hunch over on the sand.

Hey man, great video! I see you're at san luis pass and I've been wanting to get out there but don't have a 4x4, is it necessary out there? I've heard it can get pretty soft out there. Do you have a 4 wheel drive truck? Also this has been my luck recently at Mcfadden beach. Me and my dad have been slaying the 5-6' blacktips with the occasional bull. I love watching your videos

The drone thing is where vids lose me. Maybe my old behind just can't connect to a drone as fishing...then again I've seen people drag big baits out far trying to catch sharks (one day I'll actually catch one out here in California). So maybe I'm needing time to better appreciate this new tool people are using. I truly enjoys your vids, in fact you helped me find maybe my best ever surf rod from Bass Pro Shops, love that one!

@@rkw221 oh no, I don't mean to sound offensive. It is hard to channel emotion via text. I think drone fishing is very efficient and much safer. This part of the beach in TX called San Luis pass is the most dangerous beach in Texas. Many lives have been taken here due to the amount of current the inlet creates. It is a prime fishing spot, but very inaccessible due to the current. Noone kayaks baits here, many have drowned. Drone fishing has helped me safely drop bags in the middle of the pass. I have read and have talked to many older folks. Back in the day many people felt that kayaking baits was cheating, they were stuck with the idea of swimming baits out. Now kayaking is the norm.
