Be very careful if you're seeing sea turtles out there. That's a tiger sharks favorite food. Me and my buddy when we were down there couple years ago I hooked into him landed a 100 lb stingray. I wish I can put pictures on here as a matter of fact look at my profile picture. That's it right there and after a 40 minute fight with that thing you finally getting up there and after setting my ride down everything else him and I both are so tired with him trying to get it up off the brake wall there or whatever you want to call them and getting up high enough so we can get the hook out. I was just in a size 13/0 circle hook. But he was telling me he was about spent and I told him I know I was my arms were shot. I went to pick up my pole I couldn't even lift it seriously I couldn't even lift it. But as we were walking along the jetty to go back all the sudden you seen a turtle and then a minute later we saw this tail fin sticking out of the water and we only saw it about 4 ft of it sticking out maybe 5 ft. And of course we knew right away what it was by the colorations. It was a huge tiger shark behind you we couldn't even see everything that's the only thing that could see and there was still more to go. This thing probably would have pushed between $700 and 1,000 lb as big as it was and it was literally Honda practically on the shore of the Getty it was that gross it was within three feet from the rocks. My buddy said are you ready to fight something bigger? And I told him I said dude you need to carry my stuff for me there ain't no way in hell I could even carry my fishing pole but you're asking me to fight something that's around 700 or 1,000 lb. I don't think so. Now we got some pretty good stuff out there but look at the shape of that Stingray. I've seen all kinds of stingrays I had never in my life ever seen one like that. And how did we know about the weight for the a couple heavy duty rods with a tarp plastic tarp and have two people pick it up on each side and then pick it up while two or three people hold the scale and every hooked the tarp on to it minus the weight of the car and then you got the weight of the fish.
