I hear you on not listening to much hip hop. But what's cool about Tech N9ne that really puts him ahead of other artist is the multisyllabic word play within each line. He plays with different little harmonys with his overlayed vocals and he'll intentionally double and triple time in specific patterns. He'll even use crazy alliteration (which seems easy but try to write anything worthwhile in that format) He is really quite brilliant with his writing style. This song isn't a perfect representation of this but I suggest his album King of Darkness if you get the time. It's very good. Great break down as usual. ✌️

If you like those techniques, check out Ren, who writes a lot that is worthwhile in that format, especially "Losing It", which is a real showcase for those styles. Just found your channel as a major FIR fan. I had to subscribe. As far as this video back in the day they crucified any criminal regardless of status. My interpretation on the cross is that the powers that be crowned him as some type of leader. Then Ronnie goes to the people to tell them to rise up and take a stand against their oppressors ( the ones that crowned him) Then the oppressors got mad at Ronnie for starting a movement. So they crucified him for his crime. Very interesting concept and would love to hear his vision. This is the prequel for his story. Would love to hear your reaction to the video that is supposedly the next video in the story sequence "Watch The World Burn" there is some amazing vocals in that song that you might like as well. I love to hear the technical aspect of singing and screaming.

Ronnie and Ryan both have to listen to some rap an opening up to at least hearing about it. I like how you describe all this and break it down. You’re so right, and I have great appreciation for rap, emceeing, beatboxing etc… I’m prolly not the KZbin vocal coach to speak into those styles because they are not where I’ve found my community or what I do vocally. I tend to analyze styles that are on the edge of my comfort zone as a vocalist so I can help people learn and discover things about their voices. I would not be credible if I were trying to help people do this with rap because I’m not from that background. Guys like Knox Hill are fantastic at this though!

You do not need to do a video on it or anything; I just think you would have lots of fun listening to it and analysing how Jun does the vocal sounds she does - it is a very good song as well. Also, Bethlehem's «Dictius Te Necare» album would also be of interest and entertaining to you, I think; especially the tracks «Aphel - Die Schwarze Schlange», «Schatten Aus Der Alexander Welt» and «Schuld Unseres Knöch'rigen Faltpferds»; Rainer Landfermann is a beast.

For analyzing rap, its not really vocal, bot more so lyrical. The focus is the beat, so they have to perform with the beat but it becomes hard to keep a cadence doing a voice you dont speak in normally. Like Kendrick Lamar does highs when he’s Kung Fu Kenny. Some rappers like Lil Wayne are good at doing that high raspy “oww” but also deep yells, check out “Prom Queen” its from his rock influenced album, he liked doing rock music with Kid Ink, although its more so pop-rock lol.
