@@ditplm Not yet , I have young kids now, that and approaching 50 is really pushing me to change. It is happening but not as fast as i would like. A huge help has been cutting sugar out of my diet as much as possible. I have been weening off it for a year. The difference is huge and my brain doesnt constantly hurt now.

I have consumed an infinite number of podcasts, audiobooks, books and articles about productivity and weightloss. I have decided lately to cut any content or shit about weight loss, guess what.. i am finally losing weight and i am just following my intuition now and not trying to confirm my bias with a 2h podcast. I'm done learning, I need to apply and experience. Thank you Sam. "Do The Work", I can hear it while sleeping

Great video. Fear of making a mistake, fear of failing … leading to “failing” in a “blameless” way by avoiding risky action. Horrible trap.

This is a great video. Provides more utility than a lot of the bigger 'self-help' channels. It feels like you're speaking from experience and not just regurgitating self-help topic buzzwords and it shows in the quality of the content. Love what you're doing man.

I'm continually amazed at how your videos hit the nail on the head. This is a great reminder for several initiatives that I'm pursuing right now, including Podcasting, videos, and a premium ghostwriting business. I'm already in action on all of them, but I realize I do not have any information gaps at all. Last year I recognized that thinking about these things and learning about these things all the time makes it feel like it's a lot of work. But it's not the same as actually doing them lol. They really don't take all that much time. Thanks again for the great videos.

I'm 23 and been into this loop for years 😭.. Thanks for the video this did gave me a wake up call I was reading and reading and reading, taking courses on web design, playing with chatgpt and all but not taking any single action just consuming knowledge.. While reading and coming across an "aha moment" I imagine myself "intelligent" and also now I am above others kind.. Does anyone here also feel the same way?.. I have noticed this objectively reflecting and started making clear goals to achieve outcomes Thanks for this video

Yes, getting stuck in the learning phase can certainly be a problem. And to start working and applying the ideas as soon as possible will also motivate you to learn more, and you will then also more easily choose what to learn since you know what will be useful. Sometimes you do need to learn a lot before it is meaningful to even start with some kind of application though. It depends a lot in the subject and application. But of course, regerdless of subject, eventually it will turn into a form of procastination if you never start applying it.

Great video. Sometimes it'll be nice to see an image to support your talk, for example at 12:30 when you're gesturing with your hands. (You can make quick diagrams easily in Keynote on the Mac or Power Point elsewhere)

I think youtube knows where i am at coz I am at planning mode. This video is a good reminder to take more actions. I think my problem is lack of resources (capital) coz learning at this point is fairly cheap but time consuming but I enjoy doing it.

Amazing timing, I have been doom scrolling like crazy lately, and I want to compulsively delete social media and all my “watch later”s on KZbin! just looking at your channel I want to watch every video first 🫠 but I won’t. I need to chill and refocus and quit watching videos in manic mode…after college in 1995 I hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up in one day, alone! no map, no cell phone, no internet….i can do hard things 🙃
