Actually it can make sense, because the witch's effect is, that you can search a card when it goes from the field to the grave... I mean this didn't happen here because crazy anime rules but it can be a game deciding play to safely send her to the grave from the field this way.

In the original rules that were thought up back when Yugioh was still a Manga, Polymerization only worked on monsters that were on the field. You couldn't select monsters from the hand until that was changed during first rulebook release in the Yugi/Kaiba Structure Decks, which specifically mentioned how a Fusion Summon works because the text on Polymerization at the time was just "Fuses 2 or more Fusion-Material Monsters to form a new Fusion Monster."

Dude it isn’t there’s many tire 0 decks and better arc types and the only good card in red eyes is red eyes dark dragoon which is banned ocg and if I remember limited in the tcg for how good it is red eyes has some bad monster and even worse bad support with arc types like blue eyes and dark magician their support helps bring out them faster and let’s them be played into better monsters while red eyes only has one good card and some mediocre cards and other lesser arc types beat it out of use
