What i love about this video is there is so much individuality to the supplies chosen with love and passion to create a story within your art . This is the way I feel about my art supplies because they different and what I am love a comfortable with. I get a lot of questions about what supplies are good and bad. Truth is the only person that knows that is yourself. Test them out experiment.

Hullo Alice, nice list video! I love my tritone pencils I even bought the bigger set! I have found that I don’t want to invest in the open pants from Golden instead I invested in a stay wet pallet and it works with any brand of acrylic paint! If you get a good one it will keep your paint wet for weeks! Or you can make your own with a Tupperware container, a Long flat sponge sheet and parchment paper. If you’re in the south like my niece in Georgia, you can add a little alcohol to your water to keep the sponge damp and that will kill bacteria that may grow mold. Love the visuals! I feel like the time and effort you are putting into youtube is/will pay off. Happy planner website has huge discounts and sales for the sticker books, it’s the way I get them with the discount I’ve gotten them for $5-10 so totally recommend (although there is shipping price).

What a great list! I really want to try those tritone pencils some time. I have a question, though. You use colored pencil a lot in your sketchbooks. How do you keep the pencil from rubbing off on the opposite side? Anything I do in pencil in my sketchbooks end up just looking dirty, smudgy and gross after a couple months. I would LOVE to use mixed media but that is kind of preventing me from being comfortable with it.

I've honestly never had that issue with colored pencil before 😭 but when things do rub off, I consider it an enhancement - something that only happens from a sketch being contained in a book. But you could place tissue between the pages, or seal with watercolor to help as well!

@@HulloAlice Thanks! I'll give the watercolor sealing a try! I think it might be because the sketchbook I have been using i made by hand. Sot he spine isn't super stable and the pages slide around a lot. 🤔
