what a unique video, no other artist has dared to share this experiment with layering watercolours on top of alcohol markers!!?! Turned out stunning with all the bravery of layering! I was told to never use wet mediums and watercolour ON TOP of Alcohol Markers, and this prooves otherwise! Thank you for sharing this. Stunning

Thank you for your videos - question, at 6min40seconds you mention that you like the "Arteza watercolor markers (the woodless ones)" - was the "woodless' a mistake, or did you mean woodless watercolor pencils??

While the tutorial is great, washing out entirely the pencil strokes seems counter productive (use actual watercolor for that in that case). The real beauty of watercolor pencils is the pencil strokes while you have a bit of wash over them and of course saving you dipping time.

I'll be honest. I had no interest in watercolor before, bc by my experience, getting good art tips that properly explain the process are incredible hard. My mom got me a small watercolor pencil set bc she knows I like art, so I decided to watch this video I had absolutely no idea watercolor could be interesting, and you explained everything so well!! Thank you for teaching these techniques and showing them with proper explanation!! I really appreciate what you showed and I'll be sure to put that watercolor pencil set to good use! ❤

Camera work needs improvement. While some of your verbal points were of value, the visual work was useless. I would suggest watching Mind of Watercolor by Steve Mitchell. He has invested in his business, and it shows.

Thank you so much for demonstrating an actual painting with these handmade paints. It says so much more about the colors and how they lay down than just a swatch video. Kudos!

I used to use mine like a travel pallet. Tap the end with a water brush, and you've got an easy, no mess travel set that fits in a pencil case.

I just got this brand of inks today and I love them. I used to use watercolors but struggled to have the control I wanted as they would either not blend or blend way to much. I used to use oils so I love layering as well. These inks flow exactly the way I want AND don't disturb what I've already done. I plan on using watercolors when I do want that disturbed effect but otherwise it's acrylic inks form now on. I can also do lineart with black first the way I love doing without worry the colors are going to disturb the (dried) black.
