I have watched your videos for a long time now. I have learned a couple things from you as I do all my own home repairs. Thank you for that. I was the type of kid that my father had me doing everything from lawn care, automotive repair, plumbing, electrical all the way up to the roof for roofing. One thing I have learned is you never know enough and to always keep learning. YOU DOG IS SO AMAZING. I had one that looked just like her. He was my best friend and when we first got him he was immediately attached to me. I called him my little Buddy and the name stuck. Buddy lived for 7 years until one day a German Shepard took my best friend away from me. He helped me through some rough times. What breed is she? I always thought mine was a chihuahua but the very fluffy head and neck led me to believe something else. He looked identical to your girl, white coat with the spot on the eye, except his was black. Keep up the videos.

I've seen worse, I did a sink in a 100 + year old house in Hawaii. This had add on bathrooms built on an outside corner (probably added in the 30's). This was also single wall construction. I volunteered to do the job for my 80 year old neighbor, after the last guy screwed up seriously on the lower bathroom. I ended up rebuilding a lot of wall, refitted the water shut off valves , and had to redo the whole drain system. He did pay for all materials and wanted to give me more money than I wanted. He's like an uncle to me, so we agreed to my price plus a six pack to call it even. That faucet build up was nothing compared to uncle's. He had the old school individual valves and faucet.

I'm sure a quick look around that place everything neglected the same. People are just too cheap to fix or update something that failed prolly 25 years ago. Heck most commercial kitchens they have drains in the floors they don't care of drips. I've seen the nastiest kitchens that are supposed to be high end. Just owners out there cheap and count da money. I Remember I washed dishes in the south shore area mid 90's and fixed this 8ft Hobart dishwasher constantly with a conveyor belt built from the late 60's. Was more fun fixing that beast then washing dishes lol.
