@@islandeatssand684 Agreed. Did you happen to see Alex's Broadway debut (in the 2017 "Once on This Island" revival, playing Asaka, Mother of the Earth)? Truly unforgettable. Lea Salonga was also part of that cast & Hailey Kilgore played the lead role, but Alex was by far the most memorable. Alex's singing, and the applause that followed, tore the roof off that theater.

I live in NYC & before this pandemic would see *lots* of shows (often going with other people but I enjoy going to matinees by myself too, often at the last minute; between buying early - before previews began - & taking advantage of last-minute deals I rarely paid full-price for anything). But now that Broadway is supposed to start opening soon, I'm too anxious to buy tix for anything even though the new-case numbers here aren't so bad right now... I haven't even re-bought tix for shows I was supposed to see in 2020 that got cancelled & refunded. That delta variant is doing serious damage to NYC theater; I'm pretty much expecting some more shows that already announced re-opening dates to push them until later, bc it doesn't help anyone if a show that's playing to a full house has to close again in response to cast members getting sick. Poor Nick Cordero showed us all that Covid doesn't discriminate. If the virus could get him - someone who was relatively young & a dancer in great shape who took care of his body & his voice - taking chances sounds like a bad idea to me! It is true that Nick got sick long before vaccines became available, so, for someone his age who is fully vaxxed, the chance of suffering extreme illness the way Nick did is relatively small. But on the other hand, today we have the delta variant tearing through the country. Vaccines still provide protection & prevent extreme illness, hospitalization, & death but with half the US unvaccinated it feels like certain people are flat-out daring a deadly virus to come for them while - once again - in the US we are losing between 1400 & 1500 people to Covid-19 every single day. That's the equivalent of all the people killed in the the World Trade Center attacks every 2 days.

So... 1.) How is Artie's “Pony” overrated?! Most fans tend to forget he's the only original Glee Club member who does not sing a solo in the first episode (therefore, we don't get this magical number until the last season)? 2.) Tina's “Hung Up” is one of her best songs and considering this was coming out of her goth phase, it's definitely a game changer for her. 3.) I love Kitty's “Wide Awake”, even if it's not technically a solo. 4.) Mercedes, Santana, Kurt, and Unique have no overrated songs! ❤️

I would much rather have him sing like a 80s song rather than a current song. I am not sure about everytime I have sort of a love hate relationship with it to be honest same with I have nothing. Tina and mikes ‘sing’ from season 2 was probably one of my favorites. Lucky a good song, but not Sam’s best. Beth is one of my personal favorites, but I feel like all of pucks song are my favorite. ‘Fix you’ was wills best song, but that’s just me. Mercedes best was probs the season one, “bust the windows out your car.” Most of Finns songs were trash. In terms of bad, I couldn’t really think of an overrated santana song so i looked through some of her “best songs” videos people made and I found that bad is higher on them than it probably should be so I just put bad.
