Had a torsion in high school, the nurse thought it was just a kidney stone so she gave me no pain meds for almost 2 hours, eventually I got some morphine and was taken in for surgery. Needless to say it was an unpleasant experience.

I had a pilonidal cyst removed in July 2016. While it wasn't the most painful thing I've experienced, the trip to the followup the morning after was. I was in so much pain I had to lay on my belly on the floor of our van, which was a bit awkward explaining to the folks checking IDs to get on base. And then exactly a year later. I got another one. At least it wasn't as painful as the first one.

Both of them twisted for me when I was 19. Little did I know Testicular Torsion was caused by a deformity of the testicles, present since birth. I thought it was normal for them to twist/feel tight every once in awhile, until one day the pain became so intense I had to go to the emergency room and have surgery to stitch them.

Speaking from experience testicular torsion is extremely painful. Followed by a painful recovery. I personally experienced swelling more then 3× normal size. And that's how I got the nickname twistacles

10:18 Believe me when I say this is among THE most painful conditions snyone can experience. I had the initial cyst lanced in A&E and it was the only time in my life I legitimately came off the table screaming for my mother. The surgery wasn't so bad but they had to keep the initial incision open to allow for drainage After almost two months, they removed the stitches and permitted it to heal. I had to wear "depends" diapers the entire time and could barely sit for any length of time. To this day, I cannot lay flat on the floor because the old incision site is irritated by such positioning.

When we were kids, my cousin was riding a bike and hit a huge washout in the road. When he came back down on the seat, these two prong things came up through the seat and right into his nuts, puncturing his testicles and taint. He had to have emergency surgery. I couldn't imagine.

Once when I was around 5, my dad was buckling me in the car with a baby seat, and he got my thing in the buckle. I never let him buckle me into the car again.
