I have this bag in a taupe color. This is primarily used in everyday life as an active mom. It is extremely functional, sleek, and minimalist (my aesthetic). One of my favorite features is placing my cell phone in the outer pocket for easy access. My bag is still in excellent condition after several months of use. There is minimal patina.

How’s the magnetic issue? Do you feel the bag is secure?

Once the magnet is clicked in place, it is secure, but sometimes it’s not super easy to make sure it’s clicked in place, especially when you’re outside - it requires a bit of focus.

I was checking out between Guibert and Meniere but designed to go with Meniere due to the design of the bag. I went with the one that looks more like Chanel classic flap. What are your thought about Meniere? I was thinking about Guibert Tote bag in Gold for my next purchase. 😊

Hi, I personally like Guibert better as a brand because they’re more original and I think their quality is a lot better than some of the premium brands out there so I think you’re buying something of value with Guibert. I don’t have personal experience with Meniere so can’t comment on the quality but it feels like they’re a bit more mass produced / targets the mass market than Guibert, but their designs are very different so I get why you might be more drawn to it if you like the classic flap 😊

The quality and workmanship of HQDUPS's high-end imitation bags are very satisfactory. The soft and delicate leather shows that the materials are quite good. The texture of the metal accessories also makes the bag look very high-end. The fine processing of details makes this bag look no less inferior to the original.

If you’re visiting Paris definitely get it there since you get the tax refund as well. I haven’t compared the price in US vs Europe but it should be cheaper in Europe.

Thanks for the video. I am trying to find out how the strap is attached to the bag but their site n this video doesnt show it.... i thought how the strap is attached to the bag is also a must to check/go through as the strap will hold significant amt of weight???

Hi, hope you were able to see it clearly in the video. The straps are stitched to the sides of the bag. I’ve had no issues with the strap attachment 😊

I got this bag in the same color and it came Horribly made, both sides were wrinkled and all the glazing was terribly sloppy. I sent them pics, they did not apologized, did not offered any exchange . So I returned it and lost 120 dollars in this transaction because they charge customs fee also. I am very upset about this whole experience and needless to say Guibert is no more for me. So sad , I wanted this bag so badly😢

That is terrible! I wish they would have at least offered an exchange. I wonder if it’s because they’re trying to produce too many of these bags and not quality controlling every batch.

I agree. The clasp looks beautiful but it gets scratches easily. Mine full of scratches already. The clasp is not easy to close and as the bag doesn’t have a zipper, I just feel that it’s not a good bag to keep my wallet and phone. My phone fell off so many times from the back pocket. The leather is good quality but bag is not well made. Definitely not consider a luxury although it’s a French brand.

Yup it’s actually one of my most used bags these days particularly because I just had a baby and can’t always go out with high end luxury bags. The bag still looks great, there’re some creases on the inside of the flap but nothing too bad, otherwise looks brand new.

thanks for replying. Just received my allure bag this morning. I ordered the black. It’s cute that they hand written a note with the order so it just wasn’t for the YT influencers - nice marketing 🙂. The leather is buttery soft and smooth. Looks gorgeous and have yet to take it out on a test run. Planning to take it with me to trip back to London in a few weeks.

I have two of this Allure bag in different colors. I don’t like this bag anymore because the clasp is not easy to close and it’s also not secure. Not a good travel bag because it doesn’t have a zipper so it will be too easy for pickpockets to open the bag and steal stuff.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. 🤦🏻♀ The other one is a $40 one *yutulu* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym 😅
