Honestly mate. It's a joke football these days. My grandad who had a Sunderland season ticket for almost 40 years. He unfortunately can't make the games these days but he wanted to go to this one. I can't go to a game, so I'm happy about every single video, from thogden or somebody else, when they go to a Sunderland game. Spurs arsenal are passionate local rivals but they are the same city separated by football so its child's play compared to 2 cities with hundreds of years with of bitterness, cultural rivalries, economic rivalries, an actual war where both sides massacred each other. Ties run deep and football became an outlet for that hatred. Newcastle and Sunderland are separated by less than 12 mile, to have neighbours in another city that close with the vitriol that goes back through history is unique. Glasgow is different thats the same city separated by religious bigotry.

The rivalry is between cities not just football so the passion and hatred runs so deep. This goes back as far as the English civil war where Newcastle sided with the royalists and Sunderland with the parliamentarians and they butchered each other and when that war ended the rivalry continued through the rise of industry and ship building the economic and cultral rivalry continued through until sport came into existence and football has become an outlet for the passion. @@wdw8830 It was just a morbid fear of us remembering how to lose again. Now, I think this is the filip that we needed to get our season up and running. We’re still in touch with the European places and eventually, we will get our other players back. Miles, looked a little out of it yesterday, which was understandable, and JL coming off actually allowed their players into it. When JL was in the pitch, Pritchard wasn’t even mentioned. However, I fancy us to finish in the European places. We need to get Minteh back from Fejenoord for the second half of the season. Wilson is an old donkey only good for the six yard box. (Though generally deadly in it) and we need striker cover for Isak. However, that win is the most significant thing which will drive us on.

That means the Saudis transfer gross spend is £186m. Consider this, they also brought in £23m for Saint-Maximin, so you could argue that the net spend was £163m for the talent on the pitch. Yes, they have a raft of players injured, but there’s only Barnes and Tonali who the PIF spent on. Livramento was on the bench and these 3 players add £109m (Livramento £21m). Thus, the PIF squad investment is £184m. Now we all know that Mackems are secret scousers and Mancs, but do you not think what you saw from Newcastle is superb value for money. Lastly, perhaps you should ask your MP to question the Government about the Saudi “blood money” and ask where it came from…..
