ผมเคยไป เมืองนี้ Shaxi ประมาณ 10 ปีมาแล้ว ตอนนั้น มี โรงแรม หรือ เกสเฮ้า ไม่กี่แห่ง ไปที่ตลาด Sideng ไม่มีใครเลย เดินอยู่คนเดียว มีร้านกาแฟ 2-3 ร้าน นอนอยู่ 2 คืน แล้วไปต่อที่ เมือง Nuodeng อยู่บนเขา ไปกิน Ham แฮม ที่อร่อยที่สุดในจีน (หมักด้วยเกลือบนยอดเขา)

I love Yunnan so much too. My husband and I spent close to 3 weeks in the Ancient town of Shuhe and 2 weeks in Dali in 2014. The guest house with a courtyard was just so beautiful i think we were told about Shaxi, but in 2014 it was not as well known and touristed. Yunnan is definitely a must visit place. I felt same like you when we were in Shuhe, just hanging out was what we did! So relaxing, lovely old town on the Tea -Horse route. Thanks for your vlog! ❤️👍☮️

Having watched numerous videos of Yunnan Province and becoming familiar with the culture and landscape by proxy I’ve come to believe that it’s the perfect mix of China and Southeast Asia. Great video again! To answer your question about the canola, yes, we do cook the canola plants, at least in Sichuan where I grew up. It’s usually stir-fried and tastes like a combination of mustard green and broccolini!

When u see those chinese historical movies you sometimes get that feeling of old wisdom and long history when you see those typical chinese towns and villages. This is like walking as a character in one of those magnificent Kung Fu Movies. With all the amazing characters in it, like the Jackie Chan Movies. You expect them sitting in a tea house you pass right there. China can be so proud of having this old history and places. And the people there are so typically chinese friendly faces - You feel welcome and you lose your fears almost instantly. This is a place for your soul to relax for sure.

乳扇 = cheese。 since you're already in 沙溪, you should visit 剑川 before 丽江， as 剑川 is the county capital of 沙溪。 剑川 has the best wooden craftmanship in yunnan.
