I learned all these teachings you teach from my biblical counselor 4 years ago. Since then, choosing to live from the indwelling Holy Spirit instead of the flesh, I have been SET FREE from bi-polar disorder, C-PTSD, narcissistic abuse, severe anxiety, depression,suicidal thoughts, people pleasing, abandonment and rejection wounds and insomnia. Medication FREE X 4 years! All God. And when I got healthy, He sent me a godly man and we will celebrate 1 year anniversary next month. All glory to my God. Romans 8:28 is my life verse. My journey was not easy, but so worth it!

Readers miss this important aspect of the Akedah, or the Binding of Isaac. They assume that Isaac was a young child, probably based on paintings by Gentile artists such as Carravigio or Rembrandt, but in fact Isaac (Yitzak) was a full grown man 37 years of age. One can see when reading the account of the Akedah, that there is no record of a struggle, Isaac went willingly. Possibly because Isaac knew of the promises of G-d, that through him The L-rd would build a mighty nation, and that The Almighty G-d was able to even raise one who had died back to life.

KJV Hebrews 11:17-19 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. A FIGURE,meaning it was to demonstrate what YHVH would do thru the ACTUAL act not the metaphor or foreshadowing or prophetic inference by Abraham... in isolation it is a bizarre event...in context of the Infinite mind of God looking across all human history it is just one point, a major point cause it is what He is going to do in Jesus. Note in that event recorded in the Bible he says, do not lay your hand on the child, God will provide Himself a sacrifice...meaning Jesus, but for those who are blind to the Revelation there was an animal caught in a thicket that took Isaac's place! It screams the Gospel. Isaac, son of Promise... went willingly.... carried the wood for his own sacrifice up the mountain... etc ALL these details are total revelation and parallel to Jesus Christ!

When I was in my late twenties to early thirties, as i read the bible to my children; I saw how Abraham was like The Heavenly Father and Isaac was a representation of Messiah to come and die for us. Also what stood out to me was even as Isaac was likened to the Lamb of Yahuah, he also would have been about the same age as Yahushua was when he was crucified. Because shortly after this historic event with isaac, Sarah dies. And that confirmed to me that the new testament is all represented in the old testament through examples and confirmed in the new testament by testimonies.

I didn't understand before, why i believed in god and my life was going crazy sometimes, now I know. I wasn't diving enough in God's word. I was not a reborn Christian even after being baptised. Hi. Didn't realise until a few years that Isaac was 25 when this occurred as yhe Church always taught that lsaac was a child. Isaac must have had the same strong faith as Abraham as he consented and went along with his father.
