Wow there are so many I only know two variations: barbell/dumbbell shrug and dead hang pull up shrug

The dip bar shrug is one of the best you can do. Practice pushing your shoulders downward against the weight of your body.

You are the Proof that you don't need correct anatomy terminology or knowledge to build a lot of muscle! It's all in good fun bro! Keep up the good work and making sure that you dislocate your scapula at the bottom position of the pull up! ;)

The point still stands that you can train the muscles in your back by moving your scapula in this workout. Thank you for the clarification though. I honestly should have researched more.

Doesnt really matter the exercises all make sense and that is more than 99% of fitness content these days get right

The scapula is a bone, and there is not a singular muscle that does the movements your talking about. Your serratus anterior, your trapezius and the rhomboid pull them back, up and down. You are well over your ski's here, sorry dude.

You can still improve your scapulas strength by training the muscles that move it. Thank you for clarifying though. Your knowledgeable in anatomy
