This was one of the gentlest approaches to Robin Williams story, that allowed Robin Williams to speak feelings and insight and did not constantly plug his humor stand up. He wasn’t just a comedian. He was a genius with so much to offer to us. Thank you for sharing his insightful side.

This moved me to tears. As someone who's also struggling with depression for more than a decade now, I can totally relate to this "autopilot" thing he mentions. I used to be a teacher (for adults), and there were days when I literally thought I would rather die than go out to give a class. And then the time came to go, and it was like hitting a switch. The moment I entered the classroom, I felt like a totally different person. I did my thing, I talked to the students, I joked with them, no one would have suspected anything. And as soon as I went out, I felt miserable again.

I do as well. So much longer and many of us are still not over his passing. Missing Robin feels like a different kind of mourning- not quite morning for a celebrity and not quite mourning for a friend. Naturally he’s missed for his talent, but I think so many of us miss him still are missing him for who he showed us he was, even if we didn’t know him or what he was going through. We miss the part he showed us consisting of of kindness and gentleness, humility, occasional vulnerability, empathy and not wanting people to feel the way he did at times. Sharing and practicing those qualities is the the best gift a person can give to the world , famous or not, wealthy or struggling. Very grateful Robin Williams the man- cared so much and was ready, willing, and able to share that side of him and those amazing qualities with the world. He may not have been a saint- but he had a good heart ❤️

I looked up to Robin as a child even. I didn't see "bad" or "good" I just saw how he brightened people's lives whether it be comedy or enlightening stories and thoughts. The roles he played in movies where vast and swallowed you into the experience as if you can feel what that character was going through. It helped me figure out how to live through depression as a young kid growing up. I looked at it as somewhat of a guide on how to live even when you didn't feel like doing so. Like you're on borrowed time so you might as well help others until you figure out a way to help yourself. My depression was ironically the worst it's been around the time he passed so I took the news hard because I'm my mind Robin and I, along with millions of others, were fighting the battle of depression side by side in this life.. We lost an amazing comrade on this earth but he left such a life to cherish and embrace and be able to look back on as if he's still here with all of us fighting through life's struggles. Much love y'all 💚 Keep your heads up and know someone around you is willing to help, you need only ask. 💚

I remember growing up watching Mork and Mindy thinking-"this guy is HILARIOUS!" Then he started making movies...did stand-up. He was unwavering, just unstoppable. The thing that the public does NOT see is the "behind the scenes" of depression, addiction, etc and how it takes over your life. I suffer from depression and "get it". On the outside you're all smiles and happy, then reality sets in and the sadness comes back. I've done stand-up and I've been in plays, so I understand what it's like to be "happy for the crowd"....then there's the REAL you! Our loss is Heaven's gain. Thank you God for giving us Robin, hopefully one day I'll get to meet you.

His death hit me hard. I did not want it to be real. Though I never met him, he touched my heart and I felt a kibd of kinship with him He always was so authentic, and that takes being open and vulnerable.....and strength. He gained alot of wisdom and he was generous with us all, with the wisdom he gained from lessons he learned, I pray you are in Heaven Robin, making God laugh and feeling how much you are still loved by us all still here on earth.

As a doctor, I saw the “ syndrom” of the great comedians: they want always to be funny in any circumstances; they think that people wait from they to be funny! The comedians who exagerate with that, in fact, they are not happy. Robin, as Jim Carrey, they are unhappy in real life. But depression is very hard to treat, if isn’t a real fact of trauma.

I feel that people are going to Poor Robin when you are NOT OF THIS WORLD. YOU NEVER FIT YOU ARE ALWAYS ALONE. AS I. People are mean people hate people lie. I think he is in his Happiest place. Place of no pain. Where people say hi back to you. Where you can be your self and not Judged. Where you can hug a person and not get looked at as Gay. Poor Williams I say Poor Us. Poor kids where they are trained to be grown up and have to be Bad or in Gang to Respected it took a 20 year addiction a Gun shot a divorce and to be alone. To be as my Happiest. Yet a learning to smile during the day and crying at night. Asking God why are Good 1 beaten down and Realize that I am who I am. As Christ was who he was... The real fight is Not losing the Love that makes you different from All the Greddy Demons around you. So to few Angel's Keep up the fight. Because Robin is able to Spread his wings and Fly where he Belongs.. I just look forward to that Day myself......

Human Beings Being Human It would be great if human beings Were great at being human And if all of mankind Were made up of kind men It would be wonderful if common knowledge Was knowledge commonly known And if the light from being enlightened Into every heart was shown It would be fantastic if the war to end all wars Was the last war that we fought? It would be amazing if we learned the lessons From every lesson we were taught It would be cool if our freedom To us was freely granted And if every seed of kindness Would grow wherever planted It would be glorious if neighbors were neighborly And prejudice a forgotten word It would be awesome if we shared everything And being greedy was absurd t would be spectacular if the golden rule Was golden to every man And the good things that we ever did Was everything that we can. Eckhart Tolle has given us much wisdom; however, the area of thinking and his idea of ego; he is off the mark. Spinoza, a 17th-century philosopher, wrote his Ethic and it was banned because it challenged the thinking and the belief systems of the day. We all have an ego; the ego is a necessary thing that is a part of our existence. Without an ego we could not exist. Growth is possible when we realize that we are more than ego when we awaken our true intelligence, or the clear-thinking mind. This intelligence is a part of God’s infinite intelligence. There’s a way to freedom from emotional confusion, pain, and suffering. The…. WayofSpinoza
