I reached there past 4pm and was blown away by their hospitality...they served me what was left since I told them I travelled from Mumbai. There was just a piece of fish left and all the yummy veg curry. They refused to take money at the end of the meal though my hubby insisted and paid. Best meal ever❤️

Leave the the food and it’s expertise aside, Mr Kripal Amanna is an excellent communicator and a key learner, I have been watching him since the beginning of his channel and enjoyed it thoroughly, but what amazes me is his skill of local knowledge of ingredients and it’s proper pronunciation like a local of that particular place. Most of the Kozhikode restaurants charge fish meals at 30-50 only, but in that fish gravy, you wont find too many pieces of fish,its more of a fish gravy there, if you want to taste fish,you need to order fish curry seperately

EVEN JUST GRAVY MEAL AND THAT TOO UNLIMITED FOR JUST RUPEES FIFTY IN KERALA IS MORE THAN WORTH THE PENNY YOU PAY; HERE IN MUMBAI YOU HAVE TO PAY AT LEAST RUPEES 120 FOR LIMITED FISH GRAVY MEAL. (ONLY GRAVY AND RICE) AND YOU WON'T GET THE FISH AS FRESH AS IN KERALA AND GOA. HERE YOU GET MORE AND MORE FROZEN FOOD.

Amma mess, Best place at Calicut to have a homely fish meal...weekends it's very much crowded, so need to wait for your turn usually...only issue is fish cost is bit on the higher side...RS 169/- for a piece of fish fry..but still people go there attracted by the masala they use in the fish fry...most of them ask for the masala alone to eat along with the rice...
