Future Thawne is OP. He defeated Barry and Nora and would have killed Nora if Team Flash did not come and stop him. And that was when he just escaped prison so he was probably a bit rusty. He also has Lex Luther level intellect, created his own speed force, is able to manipulate the timeline while doing nothing but sitting in a cell, sped up the world ending crisis, and survived getting erased from existence multiple times. Technically Savitar was only future Barry in the comics in the show he was a cloned copy of Barry Allen do to him duplicating his self from running so fast & later on believing the copy got destroyed but in reality he just got put into the speed force after he burned up. He wanted to get rid of Barry Allen because he wanted to be the real flash after he was to kill iris That is. In one of the episodes it show's who Barry Allen would be after iris died if she did. And Savitar knows What Barry Allen would do everytime because as a duplicate he has Barry's mind & heart and everything pretty much. Unless Barry Allen didn't know the plan to defeat Savitar then Savitar would then be gone. He's not from the future on the show. In the comics Savitar is Future Barry Allen he went back in time to kill the version of himself that got Wally west killed

Im surprised Clifford Davoe wasn't included. With super human intelligence he was was able to set in place a series of events the saved the flash from the speed force, create a busload of new meta's and then take their consciousness and meld it into his giving him their powers. We even stated his power set was selected to ensure that none of the class's super hero allies can stand against him

Savitar aka future flash was almost as: tactical, brilliant, ruthless as the Reverse Flash. Savitar was actually faster than: Reverse Flash, Zoom, Kid Flash, Jessie Quick, Jay Garret and Barry Allen at least with that friction less electricity absorbing speed suit that he wore. It took the whole team and HR sacrificing himself to beat Savitar.
