"Why is the kills going up when I move?!" - It's because you're moving monster corpses out of render distance, despawning them while they're still mid death animation, this clears up the monster cap faster for more monsters to take it's place, thusly resulting in; Higher KpS. "Why can he suddenly move again?!" - You got so many levels at once, for the entire 31st minute you were levelling up. The levelups reset your garlic, triggering another hit, happening so fast you stunlocked the reaper. When those levels stopped, the second reaper was able to move again, and killed you.

Sacrifice a like to the Overlord Poe and his demonic Garlic! Fun fact: This video (prior to uploading) is 29GB large and reaches a bitrate of 143mbit/s. Very simple explanation, bitrate is more or less how sharp a picture remains when a lot of stuff is going on (or turns into the blurry mess you know). Twitch streams for reference stream are limited to 6mbit/s. That's not a typo. The bitrate of this video ended up being worth 23.8 Twitch streams (if streamed at max settings). Yea, there was a lot going on. Note though that KZbin compression will (most likely) heavily reduce this.

I have some numbers the reaper kill and I'm not sure that I believe my eyes. The damage per hit was roughly 12500. The reaper spawned at lvl 3170 (assuming queued levels dont count) giving the reaper 3170 x 655,350 = 2,077,459,500 health. The kill took 67 seconds. Dps was 2,077,459,500 / 67 = 31,006,858. Hits per second was 2,077,569,500 / 67 / 12500 = 2,480 hits per second. 2,480!

You moving arround constantly changes the spawning zones re triggering them every tick of the game,spawning new enemies , i think it scales with speed and most possibly curse but i am not sure

Oh this was so beautiful for a couple reasons. The video looked so good and crisp; the bitrate didn't crash at all for me. Plus Blood Astronomia is my favorite arcana. Just before you selected it I was thinking of adding a comment "please let him do Blood Astronomia somehow" and bam there it is.

@7:45 In defense of Attractorb, I've done my fair share of these runs and it's fine too. The weapons get strong enough enemies die well outside Magnet range so new red gems build up almost instantly regardless, but the Attractorb makes it very easy every 40 seconds to just do 1 lap around the screen and hit random Vacuums you spawned from off-screen brazier kills. The biggest benefit I find is it improves lategame lag by a lot by repeatedly clearing the stage of item clutter, as well as just making it far easier and more consistent to get the exp when doubled later in the run. There's no panic wondering where a Vacuum is, just do a lap and you'll always land one with so much Luck. Nothing "wrong" with either way. :D Someone has to stand up for us Attractorb fans. ;3

Hey Dex, I love your videos, and I was wondering if you've tried Cosmo Pavone with Prism Lass? The accumulative luck means (at least in my practice) more arcana chests faster, which means you can get Crystal Cries, Wandering the Jet Black, Mad Groove, and Silent Sanctuary really early. The synergies are endless. I tried this on mobile, and once things started going, my game actually CRASHED. I bet you could optimize such a build even more, and run the game for longer as I assume you're on PC? It's something I imagine everyone would love to see.

Hey Dex! I found a completely busted build you should try! you need to do this in a 1 weapon challenge. Red Death. Any map. endless and limit break with arcana on. you need silent old sanctuary as your starting card and try to get old tome as quick as you can. there you go! Insane cooldown that shreds through anything!

At first you really spooked me that I got this completely wrong, but I remember we saw the Reapers die :D The 69 wasn't a Reaper kill, that was the goblin, but one died at 31:07 (ingame time, not video timestamp)

@@DexTag EDIT: I double checked it, and it was just 2 clouds of numbers and 1 reaper sprite, so I'm suspecting you are right. Yeah, that kill you got at exactly the 32:00 minute mark (ingame time, not video) had to be a goblin. There is a frame at 32:04 where you can see 2 reapers on the screen at the same time. Unless I'm completely wrong and it's reaper teleporting shenanigans (which I'm perfectly okay with being wrong if I am).

The amount of damage the garlic was doing was insane, would it be possible to outlast the reaper longer with a clock lancet and/or laurel in combination with insane garlic or wouldn't it be possible to max out such a combination?

I believe I may also have a theory as to why the reaper could not move. Its pure conjecture based on the information from the wiki but the logic checks out. The way that knock back works is that knock back modifies the creatures movement by multiplying their movement speed by the knockback multiplier of the weapon and the creatures own knockback multiplier. The reaper has a -0.5 multiplier so instead of being knocked back it is instead pulled forward but only by half its normal movement speed. But what would happen if knockback was based on the creatures current movement speed and the creature suffered multiple small knockback events in a single game tick? Its movement speed would be multiplied by 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.5.... etc or 0.5^(number of knockbacks per tick) With the reapers 1,200 movement speed it would only take 11 hits in a game tick to reduce it's movement to zero due to rounding.

Negative knockback actually means the unit is immune to knockback, but every unit gets interrupted slightly, very short, when they get hit. With enough hits that means you can prevent them from moving, but the number required for that is astronomical, at least if you look at just 2 weapons and 1 of them is garlic (since it doesn't have projectiles but an aura). La Borra can slow down the Reaper that he can't kill you, Phieraggi as well, but Garlic would require a stupid amount of cooldown that is not possible to reach. And I think tragic princess broke this, since it reduces cooldown based on movement speed and we have way more movement speed than what someone should have normally

I don't understand how cooldown reduction could be over 100 %. Wouldn't a 100 % cooldown reduction mean zero cooldown, while over 100 % would give NEGATIVE cooldown, meaning weapons would re-trigger before they triggered in the first place ?

Moving despawns enemies, including the death-animated corpses. Basically by moving he can spawn enemies FASTER. Thats why his Kills per Second goes up while he moves. Outside of that he also moves around, once his magnet gets too big, so he does not collect too much EXP before Wicked Season gives its Doubling effect on EXP.

The main reason used to be (and to an extend still is) that you A) need a horrible passive to do it B) if you are already limit breaking at that point, you waste the limit breaks Nowadays it's not that much of a problem anymore since you can get the passives you want in other ways, though they are still random and you may not end up getting them. But the main reason here is that it was about Garlic, not Soul Eater
