I'd recommend that huge honkin' headlamp to people that want to cosplay as Captain Toad, and pretty much no one else.

I have the cheap mulitple emitter headlamp with green emitters to cosplay as splinter cell.

China manufacturing is a prime example of just because you can doesn't mean you should. I buy these janky lights as cheap modding hosts, These benefit from an emitter swap, or gutting the electronics for better performance with convoy drivers/switches, etc.

I think that Big Headlamp (not the HID one) is pretty common amongst the Spear Fishing community in the Philippines. Basically they cram the light into a PVC Pipe seal it up with Epoxy and you got yourself a cheap Diving Light.

looks like you didn't pull the battery insulator tab for the left glove there - white square tab at base of module

I have the "Tactical" one with the zooming main head and the two rotating side heads in a different brand. I used to have that on my eScooter before I got an eBike so the main head would be facing forward and the two sides were angled downward. It was okay... it's been in storage for years since I got a couple much larger (2x 26650 cell) lights because they are bright enough that the trail in the dark is like I have smaller car headlights on.

I think all of these lights are useful in a particular way. Being self-conscious about looking cool or having the latest and greatest is so very tik-tok. $40 for that giant headllamp is great! The "shoe" lights can go other places, why shoes? Is this a test? Those are good lights.

That one with the 2 rotating accessory lights looks like the design could be useful to me when working with the industrial printers I work on. IF it is well made and has a strong magnet on the base. I've been using various Nebo lights for a few years and haven't yet found anything I prefer over that brand.

Unfortunately it does not have a magnet in the tail, though it probably wouldn't be difficult to add one

The little clip lights are goofy indeed. They have some uses, but less useful for lighting the way while walking. Reminds me of the clip lights for Crocs or the snowplow attachment lol... do you really wanna be wearing snow plows on crocs in the snow?

That's not really a question I can answer, it depends on what you need from your lights, there is no 'best'. If you can afford to spend up to $300, I would recommend getting 2-3 really good lights that fill different roles.
