Let’s be honest. His death was only half shown, we only saw his chest and thighs get de-skinned. His death was more brutal than meets the eye. It was offscreen but I’m guessing his skin carried on getting burnt off until he was just bone

jason was a confused teenager and he thought what he was doing was right, he very much wanted to save max but had zero clue what was actually happening. this death was unnecessarily brutal imo

He pretty much killed Max by stomping on her Walkman and pushed everything to the extreme next level and attacked innocent people that did nothing to him AT ALL and he even sent his friend to beat up little Erica. He truly deserved this! What an awful person

@@jonathansoto6984 idk man, from his point of view, eddie lifted up his friend into the air with magic, broke his limbs and then killed him before dropping him into the lake. Pair that with the satanic panic and anyone would have done what he did. Put yourself in his shoes. You just winessed your friend being brutally killed in ways you cannot explain whilst chasing what people were calling a cult leader, and then you see what looks like a ritualistic sacrifice by what you thought was your friend but is actually a member of the cult leader's group. Also, your girlfriend was brutally killed too, and the police don't seem to be doing anything about it.

i wouldn’t say unnecessary. morality has nothing to do with it. vecna opening the gate through hawkins will have killed lots of good people. it’d be boring if good people had “good” deaths and bad people had “bad” deaths all the time. that’s not reality

Jason in my opinion didn’t deserve that. He was just someone who was trying to do the right thing. His literally Girlfriend died in a brutal way and so did his friend. I really think he didn’t deserve it, he was just trying to do the right thing. Even though he didn’t know anything about the upside down.
