So sad. Her story is Really authentic. A friend of mine got shot at a party and ran a half mile before he realized it. His adrenaline took over and he felt nothing. Yeah, its true. I was stabbed once and I didn't realise that for an hour or so. I went home and got on a chair as usual and It's only when I felt something wet and sticky underneath and realised that its not some spilled water Im sitting on but my own blood that's when the pain swept over me. I find it fascinating how our brain can play tricks on us that seems to be impossible when you think about it, like how can you miss than you got stubbed? The level of detail and insight she has is really impressive for a regular citizen (vs a cop). Not many people would note and remember little details like how Cortez parked his car or think to mention nearby places that could have CCTV for them to check. She's clearly a smart woman. Cops are not trained the way you believe they are. Most cases police officers are not trained in anyway for speaking to people or how to handle touch situations. Cops are poorly trained and many of them end up being murderers. The woman has insight because she already naturally does. She most likely handles herself well outside in a very well way. She’s most likely well educated and is able to speak well to the police. Before answering questions she asks questions for her understanding. She’s not only listening she’s active listening. Any single person can act this way and has nothing to do with training more to do with mentality and fight or flight in the mind. We give police too much credit when in reality they are the largest paid gang in the USA

I think that the behavior you describe as "like a child" is in large part due to the painkillers she was given. She sits there a few hours after being shot in the leg with no apparent pain. @River Run but not to the extent people are more upset the dog got shot over the fiancé who lost his life. Its fucken horse shit. Show how absolutely low our current understanding of morals is. I never said dogs don't help with traumatic healing. I have my own service dog who is normally never more then 30 feet away from me. Bring her everywhere with me. I as a vet understand why I personally like having her around. She's a tool in which I find a deep connection and love with. She watches my back. However I get far more in every way with my wife. @HanFace89 I have a firm grasp of the importance of human life. I also have a firm grasp on firearm safety and firearm training. Just because I get angry doesn't mean I have to lose my discipline and act irrationally. I also have forethought and reason. My firearms are for self-defense of my family and those around me. In addition to that, my firearms are a tool for putting food on my kids' table. We haven't eaten beef in years because of them. At no point will there be a time when I use my tools in a negative way. People like you seem to think all people are a danger with firearms yet are perfectly comfortable with the government owning guns.

I gotta say…the comments on this channel have really surprised me. I watched this exact interrogation on a different channel recently & so many of the comments were unnecessarily mean-spirited & critical of this poor woman. Most of them made fun of her voice & her unique way of speaking; others called her “slow” or implied that she was purposely trying to sound like a child for some nefarious or manipulative reason. Totally lacking any empathy or compassion, despite the traumatic experience & horrific loss she’d just been through. On the other hand, the majority of the comments here are very different…refreshingly kind & compassionate. Says a lot about the kind of subscribers this channel has versus others.

Some commenters need to go back and listen to what she says., not the voice she says it in. After a traumatic event, she's able to give helpful, compelling information, empathy for others, and remains as graceful under fire as anyone w/a more "appropriate" tonal range. Every bit of her body language speaks volumes. The police have seen enough to see through an act. After the interview, the officers treat her w/all due respect because this woman's ordeal is about as real as it gets.
