There is a movie called Possum, I don’t remember much except the spider with human face , it was very creepy.

Possum is about the trauma of being molested by a family member. The puppet is basically a lightning rod for that trauma.

is it any good? iirc the director was garth marenghi in garth marenghi’s dark place, which is one of my favorite shows, but i’ve never had a chance to watch possum.

This shows how most of the not-so-much known movies gives a better and more original horror experience than the blockbusters.

The bockbusters are 40 years old and set some grounds for today's horror. Of course they suck now, cause we know what they are. They still play a huge part in horror history

It's gotta be Possum for me. very twisted when you connect all the dots. A great watch and the movie does a great job at portraying how trauma when growing up can ruin a person

I’ve watched multiple ending explained videos about some of the movies you talked about. you explained them in a few minutes. Better then in a half hour video. Made me notice stuff I wasn’t understanding like the rabbit in caveat. . I wAnted to know about the rabbit and the night house! If I wasn’t subscribed already. I would subscribe again.

Ever watch this really old retro horror movie that's still really good called Thirty Days of Night? Very dark horror & effects hold up even now. My dad grew up with it & I like it a lot. They don't make them like they use to back then.

@@NirroirCalling a movie that's not even 20 years old retro and really old is just weird (unless you're a literal child). I'd say it should be at least 30 years old to be called retro, and 50 years old to be called really old.

Two of my favorite are "The Invitation" (not the Benedict Cumberbatch movie) and "Cadaver" both dable in the idea of not knowing if what you (the character) saw was real and what to do about it. Loved both of them; think they're on Netflix

You may as well have introduced your video with, "According to the writer's dictionary of genre..." Introducing a topic in this way is a sure fire way to make an otherwise interesting topic that much harder to sit through. Just to be clear, I do enjoy videos after the lifeless, unimaginative, and pedestrian intros, but I find myself clicking off to something else when videos start this way.

One of the scariest movies I have ever seen is called the Road. It's not the Cormac Mccarthy movie version of his book either. It was out on DVD in 2012 and it takes place in the Philippines. I don't want to spoil anything but if we're talking very real psychological horror that movies chock full of disturbing imagery and situations. Once you begin to see what the 'twist' is its also revealed that things that were introduced in the first few minutes of the movie were extremely important when it came understanding everything. I have yet to meet anyone who has seen it so there has been no one I could talk to about how purely insane I became upon realizing what exactly I was watching. Scary stuff for real❤
