What makes the fate of poor Alice in Lake Mungo even more terrifying is that by the end you realise that she not only saw the premonition of her own death that she could not prevent, but that there's also hints that she had premonitions of watching her family go on with their lives after her death, & eventually leaving her behind. Her spirit is essentially trapped in the family home in the end, still every bit as alone as she felt in life, & unable to move on.

The fact that the couple on A Quiet Place got pregnant AFTER the whole monster post-apocaliptic thing is insane. The very first scene even shows them going to a pharmacy, couldn't they rob a condom or some pills?

Love your videos. They got me into the saw movies and horror in general. im still kinda a huge weenie when it comes to watching the movies straight on, but I often find that watching yours or similar videos about said movies and the worst scenes within help me feel an appreciation for the art and mechanics of it instead of fear or disgust. i do sometimes wish you saved videos for a while, put them out a week apart or sometjing instead of rapid firing four days in a row and then disappearing

This idea was also explored in The Thing from Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark. These types of apparitions are called Forerunners.

Omg I watched 'The Others' on a VCR tape way back when that was the way you watched movies. I was a child back then (started watching horror when I was like 5 lol) and it was my favourite movie, I rewatched it sooo many times. Rewatched it last year after not seeing it for years, and it's definitely still one of my favourite movies. I'm pretty sure I even still have that VCR tape at home! I should really rewatch it that way since we do still have our old VCR laying around

The fact they had this nail just chilling out on the stairs is something I can't understand because that most likely already was like that BEFORE the monsters even were a thing. If that just somehow happened to get like this after the monsters came they could have still clipped that nail off or nailed it down carefully, yes you can hammer things in a very quiet fashion, another option would have been to put just anything on/around it so that there wouldn't even be a chance to step on it directly.

Nice video! New sub here! Ok, I know I’m in the minority, but _The Others_ left me…questioning things. First, I figured they were the ones doing the haunting about 30-45 minutes in, I mean, “allergic to sunlight”…just believable enough, but the dark surroundings, yeah no, I didn’t buy it. I get that Grace & the kids were traumatized & she went insane, which led to the predicament they’re in…but what didn’t sit well with me was how the husband showed up & she didn’t, couldn’t or _wouldn’t_ remember that news that triggered the whole thing?! I thought the reason he came back here was to let her know what has happened, but he just upped & left the next morning 🤦🏻♀️ And who’s to say she isn’t gonna wake up the next day & forget everything & go back to the way before?! I don’t know if I misinterpreted the whole movie or what, but I didn’t care for it. (Just like the Ring)

The Others was such an awesome movie (I was able to guess the twist not even half way through the film - didn't make the movie any less entertaining).

My headcanon for Lake Mungo is that Alice didn't meet a doppelganger, but rather THOUGHT she met her own death premonition due to her already unstable mental condition, but in reality it was just a local crackhead squatting in the dried out lake area

2:45 this text feels soooo ChatGPTish Upd: whole video does The text of the entire video is difficult to listen to. The moments when the author switches between chat GPT text to self-written are clearly visible. Compared to previous videos, the quality has dropped significantly because of this. Please don't do this
@HitStartYT3 ай бұрын
The videos are only in part written by me, I mostly outsource the writing. This isn’t the first comment I’ve seen claiming this, so I’ll double check with the writers. It can be that since they’re not 100% my words, that it sounds a little robotic (because it’s been months since I’ve recorded videos). But thanks for letting me know!!
@Banalny_Banan3 ай бұрын
@@HitStartYT they sound not even just robotic, but exactly like chatgpt. It has a very distinct writing style, and here it is word for word. There are also clear insertions of text written by a person, as if someone is trying to avoid detection. You definitely need to check it with the person who's making those texts for you, because it seems that he's not only scamming you, but also dropping the quality of your videos
