I was always fascinated by this game, due to the grisly nature and visuals, and that constant fear of never being safe. The school hallucinations were also a good touch of "liminal space" sort of horror. I still think this is one of the best horror games to this day, imo.

Something I was thinking of when he got to the bedroom trap was "Are these truly unbeatable or unbeatable as in coming away unscathed?". Amanda's traps were rigged from the start, which Jigsaw was extremely disappointed in. So I don't really think those count since one of the plot points was in fact that the rigged nature was a huge issue to him. I think it was less that some of the much harsher traps such as the flytrap was unbeatable as it was extremely difficult. The whole point was having the will and strength to live, overcoming pain making you want to stop or fear paralyzing you. While I don't inherently think some of the crimes fit the punishments, I at the very least understood the symbolism of each trap and reasoning [Again even if it was disproportionate, such as the razor wire trap and the divorce couple spike trap.] As for the pints of blood trap, the thing of only two remaining at the end to give blood instead of all 5 original victims was kindof the point. A lot of people turn on each other in a bid of near truly if not truly instinctual survival of the fittest. It felt less rigged to fail as much as again, difficult. Like with other groups in other movies, there's always one aggressor who refuses to cooperate and forces others to be active pieces in traps instead of themselves until karma finally catches up with them. However I will say the flame jelly trap was by far one of the most extreme and he made a lot of points about it, I don't have much coverage or explanation about that one other than it's still technically passable depending on how much time he had with the poison and what that said poison does. I think the point in a way was that it was painful and meant to make you panic and rush. And maybe use your foot to push the glass away from the sides of the room so the walkway isn't so painful but again, timecrunch. It's a lot easier to think about and plan when you're not in it I guess, and maybe that's the lens of the outsider.

Happy death day could be better if she figures out how to beat the killer but her actions are messed up by other people every single time. Now she has to figure out how to take care of multiple people and instances so she can beat the killer or trap them.

Greetings, brother. It seems you are very mistaken about Catholicism. First off, Catholic guilt is not common among active Catholics. Catholic guilt comes from when a former Catholic feels guilty about going against their faithful upbringing, but does not care enough to be reconciled to the Church through confession. Faithful Catholics can always be forgiven through the sacrament of reconciliation and go on guilt-free with their lives. Secondly, Catholics have imperfect role models. They need not look up only to Jesus as a role model. Catholics believe in venerating saints, which means we remember and honor Catholics who, despite their faults, lived a life pleasing to God and entered heaven. Catholics, more than any other Christian denomination, have faith that one can be both imperfect and a saint. Finally, Catholics are not blind sheep. We recognize the humanity and fallibility of priests, bishops, and even the Pope. In fact, there is a movement among traditionalist Catholics called "sedevacantism", which claims that we don't need to listen to our current pope. I'm not saying that sedevacantism is good, because it is not, but I'm just illustrating that Catholics do not believe in blind submission. Children are prone to being easily coerced by adults, whether they be priests, parents, teachers, family members, or even complete strangers. I hope this helps. Otherwise, I loved your video, and may the peace and love of Christ be with you always. ❤✝️
