17:53 sure the chopper is an amazing piece of equipment, but the pilot needs to get most of the praise for being able to place all 4 legs in place while dealing with the dirt cloud being kicked up and the swap of the tower as it hangs... that pilot is a boss

The car over the tow truck- I was baffled how someone could make that mistake but then the comments the driver made of having never seen the tow truck, not recognizing the emergency scene coupled with the info that she was charged with driving without a license and failure to buckle up, really provided all the clarity anyone will ever need.

An interesting statement on the burned boat segment, was that all vehicles had reduced petroleum in their tanks to avoid fire, I recall where it was required to fill the tanks of all vehicles on the cross channel ferries out of Dover to Calais They said it was to reduce the chance of explosion as full tanks can't explode as easily as empty ones since there are less vapors to go bang!

The one that started on fire was an Electric Vehicle. The reports clearly stated that Lithium-ion batteries combust when they come in contact with water, salt water is like gasoline for Lithium-ion batteries.

@@MCBRUCE76 Actually, it only said "automotive batteries" and nowhere did it specify that the fire was started by an electric vehicle, although it certainly should have. The presence or lack of gasoline on the cars was not relevant, although it probably didn't help, Nothing can put out a Lithium fire, especially if it's on the deck of a sea vessel.

That's true, I was aleways told the same thing about the risk of a half full tank. I believe since then, they changed these tanks however, so that there was no longer the vapor issues anymore..

I maintained / edited the mechanic's maintenance manuals for the S-64 Erickson Air Cranes from 1996 to 2000. And also created the first manual on the computer along with the enfineers for the addition of the FOAM TANK and hose to the S-64 which is used to fight high rise fires. So proud of doing that work.

I have seen a couple of the videos before, but the content is mostly new and is interesting. It always amazes me how people will be in close proximity to the danger , but until the dust actually hits them they just hang around.
I've seen that car launching over that tow truck a kazillion times now. But it never gets old! How could she not have noticed all the emergency vehicles there for that accident and the giant tow truck? There was no correction at all. She really didn't notice it. It's astonishing to me. Can't believe she lived. No driver's license and not wearing a seatbelt too. How much luck does one person deserve?

There were no warning lights on the tilt bed towtruck as required by law! It was probably an unlicensed pirate rig or some troopers brother trying to make a quick buck. Also notice the lack of four-ways or red/blue lights on all of those vehicles in the medium. Of course, as stated, the driver was unlicensed and probably just blew a joint.

All the EV fires are like that. There's loads of blazing EV videos in China. The scary part is there is NOTHING that will extinguish the battery fire. Even worse is if they explode or the EV turns into a blowtorch shooting pressurized fire over nearby vehicles or buildings. The poor people whose EV scooters or motorcycles explode between their legs followed by scorching fire.

You clearly know nothing about physics. A train can't stop in a very short amount of time and distance. The solution is simple; Don't stop on train tracks. It's not the train's fault - it's the idiots who keep parking on the tracks. Every time this happens I ask the same question, "Exactly how far off the tracks did the train go to hit this person?" This "crazy train problem" will never be resolved as long as there are idiot drivers.

This complication video was informative as well as nerve wracking in places. I live in Africa and I have never seen a hippo running in water. It felt like I was watching a swimming event at the Olympics. There was one video I felt was out of place and that was the beauty queens falling into a fish pond. The rest were awesome.

That fire video was intense! And it reminded me of the latest information from mainstream media about 9/11. It turns out it was three children playing with matches that brought down three steel towers. Coincidentally the terrorists crashed planes into two of them. While it's true that never before or since has a steel tower been taken down by fire, there is some evidence that indicates that kids play with matches less than before. Hope this helps!

The river video (land rising out of) was probably a gas bubble . Thank GOD no one dropped a bomb on it . The whole river would have exploded probably killing the people filming such a strange sight. That would have been reminiscent of the (lake in Africa) with a trapped gas bubble that had a flameless eruption killing hundreds of people and animals alike. These (invisible gasses) are silent killers some of the most lethal things on our challenging planet
