@hunter2149 - I'd call you by your rightful name, Vardarska (or Paeonia). Heck, even Disneyland is more accurate of a description of who you are and where you are. You are nothing more than a post-WWII political creation, having absolutely nothing to do with the ancient Hellenic kingdom of Macedonia.

Go on a boat to st Naum monastery its 20 euros with a bog boat and when you were on that path above st Jovan Kaneo just a little bit up its st Clement university and his tomb you missed it ❤st Clement university first in Europe

We went on a lake boat tour up to the Monastery, it was beautiful! 😍 Very interesting, that's a good reason for us to come back :)

Un endroit que l'on recommende pour un long weekend ou une semaine en été ! On se voit bien nager dans ce beau lac. La nourriture aux Balkans est fraiche et super bonne !

How it works with money there i have euros cash and bankcard?

Hello, we used the local currency (by getting cash from the ATM), also it is very easy to exchange € for Macedonian Denar (and the opposite) without crazy charges. In most shops we paid by card, same with restaurants. But some of them only accept cash. We hope this helps :)

For the benefit of the posters of the video and their historical knowledge, please be informed that the name of the country you are covering is North Macedonia, not Macedonia (Prespa Treaty). Enough of this misrepresentation!

Unfortunately, the water is not actually that clean. Sewage water is discharged into the lake. The sewerage system in Ohrid, built in 2013, is not functioning, and the waters of Lake Ohrid are polluted with waste water from fecal sewage, according to data from the latest report of the Institute of Public Health.

Thank you for your comment. It is good to know. We read that it was clean enough to be able to swim in this beautiful lake, so we didn't know about the sewage issues. That's a shame as it is a beautiful place, and from the outside, it looks pretty clean. Hopefully, they will fix this in the future so the water stop being polluted with sewage water. as long you can distinguish between North Macedonia (slavs) and Macedonia in Greece, the 13.Land of Greece with its Capital Thessaloniki and Homeland of Alexander the Great!

@@sylvieanddanny Macedonia was the home of Alexander. The fortress in Ohrid, post popular during Samuel's reign, was intially built and used by Alexanders father, Philip II. Greek comments like this might seem like they're with informational intention, but in reality are purely malevolent. An attempt to seperate Macedonians from our ancient past and identity, and take full ownership of the Macedonian heritage.

Every person around the world knows that Macedonia is MACEDONIA and it will always be called Macedonia, with its own rich history and identity. Greece is Athens, and that's where it belongs. Please stop trying to rewrite history-Macedonia is proud of its heritage, and we intend to preserve it. Thank you for your understanding and move on with your life in Greece. :-)

Thank You to visit *Macedonia.* Please only say *Macedonia* in your future videos because North *#Macedonia* is the only country in the world that has the name *Macedonia* in its own name. There is no other country that has the name *Macedonia* in its own name. The addition of North to the name *Macedonia* was made through racist coercion by people who do not want to accept that over the last 15 centuries the *Macedonian people* adopted the Slavic language and mixed with the southernmost Slavs. Please do not support such racist and even fascist world views as those supported by the EU and NATO, because such behavior reveals the worst hypocrisy. We as children of *God* should not be hypocrites, racists, fascists, ... or anything similar.
