Yaar 17-18 ki age me interest ka kuch pata nhi lagta hai, college me jaakar ye chize acche se pata lagti hai jab hum explore krte hai. IITs khulla maidan hai explore krne ke liye. Baaki colleges me utna accha scene nhi hai as compared to top IITs,IIT BHU literally top 7 ke just baad aata hai to iski brand value bhi bhot high hai.

Bhaiya, I got metallurgy in IIT Bombay and have put civil in Delhi above it in priority. I am not too sure now. Should I freeze the seat? For context I am not too worried about placement. I have interest in entrepreneurship . And I wanted too study law not engineering . So I have thought Maybe I will do law after btech from somewhere outside India. I am sure engineering will not be my long term career or software development even if initially I get a job in it. Working and office job is really not my desire.

Remember he is fooling you in sake for retaining the hype of his iit tag. Don't get fooled choose wisely. At the end how much you get in hand defines your status in society.
