20 August 2022 I'm studying in Allen kota .... I came here two months ago for IIT preparation and was literally shocked at first when I saw only students n students with bags on every path.... Competition ka andaza tabhi pata chl gya tha 🙂.... I was able to relate everything from Kota factory..... But I'll still say that only with coaching u can't be able to crack an exam... U need to put efforts from your side too.... So "Allen hai toh mumkin hai " Nhi "Agar app mehnati hain toh mumkin hai " ✍️👍🏻 21 Jan 2025 Bro!!! it's been more than 2 years now...spent my 11th and 12th in kota ..made so many memories and friends....met so many crazy people.... indeed it was the best years of my life yet..now I'm in my hometown preparing for JEE as a dropper...date has been announced (28 jan ) hoping for the best !!

@@Rivva2511 exactly 11 years ago I was in the same situation as you are in. 😀 Just came from my hometown to join Allen back in 2011. We had our orientation ceremony near Sankalp Building where B. Maheshwari sir and other Maheswari sir gave their motivational speeches and sang song. Our classes use to happen in Safalya building. This was the time Allen was making it's move in IIT-JEE/AIEEE domain. They just make a move of legendary teachers like Anurag Mishra sir, Amarnath Anand sir, M.S. Chauhan sir etc etc from Bansal only. It's funny how the competition grew up with every passing year or so, but one thing which doesn't changed over time is quality vs quantity ratio, which always is/was towards profit as compare to student benefits.

see I have seen many people saying they are getting depressed bcz of this competition. I would say only one thing, this is natural selection, the fittest will survive. You are not getting anything if you cry in a corner bcz of this competition. You will be kicked out of race if you are not fit enough to compete. We cant blame others if only we are unable to remain happy. Students who say that this education system is too toxic, I will say only one thing, Just admit it that either you are weak or you are made for something else. I was waiting for someone to speak on this which such explained way. I am also an educator on Unacademy since last 3 years for IIT JAM Exam . Where I teach students to help them to get IITs, IISERs, IISc or different reputed institutes. We also help students to reach IITs and other reputed institutions. This year only I have helped 100+ students to reach IITs, IISc, IISERs and Other institutes for higher studies. Real story begins here: On one hand Unacademy offers teachers from IIT JEE Category in crores whereas we teachers get (I don't know what fraction of that) . Even the teachers who have helped a lot of students to clear their JAM Exams have now been terminated from their job just because they haven't got that revenue through their referrals as expected by Unacademy. And it is real humiliation to such teachers. Can't write the whole story here . Will be happy if we can catch through email. Thank you

As a person who sat in class of Mohit Bhargava i suffered a lot in this coaching environment. It was bad, unhealthy and depressed me a lot. I gained around 40kgs in weight lost my self esteem because I was told if you can't perform in their exams you will live a pretty bad life. I picked my self lost those 40kgs and landed a job offer which was exclusive to IIT's. To students who are in 10th don't waste your life on this if you think that's not for you. Pursue what u want to work on and grow in that. At the end of day you want to love ur work and ur health the most rest all are extras 💚.

I lived in Kota for 22 years and have seen this whole evolution with my eyes The mental health of students is so bad. Most of them are away from parents and feel a lot of responsibility. There's not much pressure from parents these days but the coaching ecosystem itself is extremely pressurising. And as a working professional now,I can tell you that no matter what job you get, after 1 year no one cares about what college you came from. I work along side with many IITians in my job and honestly there's no difference in treatment from office or anything. Only thing that other colleges don't have as much when compared to IITs is the culture and other extra curricular stuff. Because of internet, opportunities are almost the same. Maybe a bit less in other colleges but it's not a significant difference. But as a PCM student in Kota, you only have one goal. To get into IIT . And it's understandable. But I think we have to let the students know that they might not make it into the IITs but it's not over there. Opportunities are there, if you love what you do.

@@bullseye9723 in some companies, through on campus placements they get more, yes. But in off campus jobs I haven't seen difference in offered salary package. It is on the candidate to negotiate a better salary in some cases but that's just from my experience.

And I watched channel called Gate Smashers for theory topics. Keep watching those and keep practicing. You'll find some channels you like and enjoy more maybe. Good luck

Irrespective of any institute or tution, no matter how it is, the work DEPENDS upon the student itself. Institute only gives a base but the gulping needs to be done by us,not the institute. And regarding online and offline, some are acquainted with online and some for offline. Personally,i don't prefer online. And about the competition, no matter how much you're smart there's always a COMPETITION, it's not that if you're taking in pw or Allen, you ll get selected in the entrance exam, COMPLETELY A WRONG CONCEPT! I ll just say whatever or whichever institute you're in wheather in online or offline,just give more important in yourself and respect your base where you're in. Everyone has their own mode of studying. No one can shake that faith or belief.

I went to Kota in 2019. Being from a village in Bihar and not having many connections I didn't know anything about the IITs and Kota. When I scored 94 per cent in my 10th board, which is quite average, but it was the highest in my school, no one even crossed the 90 mark. My father was advised to send me to Kota suggesting your son is a topper he should study at Kota. No one in my family is educated, so they decided to send me because the person who advised had a government job and anyone with a govt job in Bihar is considered the most educated person, no need to mention. So I went there and paid hell lots of money to the coaching, hostel and the mess only to study with 200-300 students in a single room. Plus not all the teachers are great, we were allotted batches on the base of our performance in the tests and the top students were given top batches who were tought by top teachers. All they want is to get top ranks to boast about in the future by focusing on only the already good scoring students, they can't make an average student a topper. There is a saying in Kota... "Toppers are rankers and the average ones are Bankers". In 2020 Corona came and I had to come back. I wasted my 2020 waiting for corona to end. In 2021 exams happened and I failed miserably. One of my friends suggested me to try online classes and I was blown away to see the quality of content available for free on youtube. I took a course in Physics wallah and prepared in my drop year. The best thing about online classes is that you can study with any teacher of your choice, unlike the offline centres where you have to accept whoever has been allotted to you.

The students who will come to Kota in the next 2 years will have a callous choice to make. i.e Teachers v/s Coaching. As a student I'd like point some very important things you missed Mohak 1) You did not include role of Telegram!(I'll expand this point at the end) 2) NEET market of Kota is Twice-Thrice bigger than JEE now!! This is not 2010 2) I was a student of Allen in class 11th last year. My teachers were good but I craved for better teachers. That's where Telegram comes in 3) Almost all teachers who went to Unacademy were given very high salary. But do you know how Unacademy selected the educators to pick? 4) Every teacher in demand had their lectures leaked on Telegram during lockdown where thousands of students watched them. Now most groups are copyrighted but I remember a group named NEETBOT which had 25k subscribers where admins used to leak every popular teacher in NEET Domain 5) Rahul Yadav sir was not very senior teacher in 2019 and 2020. But during lockdown his lectures were posted on Telegram where thousands watched and literally became his bhakt(Including me) 6) The leaking for NEET took place on a much aggressive pace. Almost every batch was leaked(not just teachers). The ones who were popularized the most on Telegram were actually given very rich offers by Unacademy which they accepted. Edit: Allen raised 600 million Dollars for 36% stake. How can it's valuation be 1800 cr. Did you confuse the 600 million dollars with 600 crore INR?

Corrections: 1:58 maximum students who come to kota belongs to medical field i.e. for NEET not IITJEE 8:00 the market value is more if u add hostel fees...which is average 8k per month for a singel room for a single student (I stayed in rajeev gandhi nagar and most of my frnds had their fees like these.) IIT Jee & NEET seats are limited, so students should think 10 times before spending their time & energy in preparing for IIT-JEE or NEET. They should ask questions to themselves, do they really want to become doctor or engineer or it's just a family pressure. They should start understanding about themselves while preparing for the same ( if they really want) in local tutions.

Also there is a rat race for getting CSE and IT branches as these branches gets the highest placements Thus many students don't choose the branch they like they choose the branch which can get more money This is because manufacturing sector in India is not growing even it is declining therefore civil, mechanical, electrical and many core branches students don't get a job and hence people are forced to take cse or any software related branches Even core branches are really tough and more difficult than cse

Maine Kota me IIT JEE ki taiyaari kri hai ALLEN se aur Mohit Bhargawa sir se do saal physics padhi hai, he has brilliant teaching skills and in his class, all students actively participate in discussions over tricky question of IIT - JEE level. Some misinformations in the video 1) NEET market of Kota is 2-3 bigger than JEE. It's not 2010 2) Alakh Pandey was not a IIT dropout. He was pursuing B. Tech from HBTI Kanpur 3) Allen raised 600 Million Dollars for 36% dude! Not 600 cr INR. Total valuation of Allen= 13,000 crore INR

neet has chance limits while u can give jee adv only once after passing 12th not even two chance so majority of the non selected students keep dropping every year and the number keeps increasing thats why they have more students but no. of students are more in pcm/engineering like in 11-12th etc

I am an ex Allen student and honestly i recommend to the students to go for online courses of PW or unacademy (as per your own selection of teachers) .....PW and Unacademy both are very much better in delivering better quality education than Allen and other institutions who only focus on earning money..in Allen you will not get each and every best teacher but in online of Pw you can get their best teachers like MR sir , Tarun sir, MD sir, Pankaj sir 🌟

I spent 3 years in Kota, and many times I was in depression because I am an average student at that time , teachers are helpful but the environment there is so competitive, some of my age students were already taking coaching since they were in 6 the class and there were 600 students in one class and i had so many bad experiences also . Thats why i do not make it in iit . i saw so many cases where students in kota get depressed and committed suicide. But I never stop fighting, Kota made me a fighter. Now i am happy in my life💪

Physics wallah is one of the best coaching for neet as compared to allen because I am ex Allen student and also student of PW my neet journey in allen , I was see only 5-8 students are selected for government medical college out of 240 or 250 studends rest of May prepare for next neet or joined other colleges or private colleges, I was one of this student my friends and me also running for teachers who is best teacher for this particular topic or chapters . The thing is kota will not remain the battlefield any longer, and Allen won this war way before it even started. How? By opening pan India centres with equally qualified teachers as Kota. Here are some facts. JEE ADV 2019 Topper- Allen Mumbai center JEE ADV 2021 Topper- Allen Jaipur center JEE Mains 2022 topper and 100%ile scorer- Allen Guwahati center. A student no longer needs to go to kota adapt to the weather,shitty food, no parents to motivate you. Now they can easily do it from their home cities. Allen pan india centers have been performing wayy better than Kota in the recent years.

Bruh you are jst counting the air 1 that's it No of selections from Allen Kota is way way more than any other branch or Institute. Number of Under 100 rankers is greatest for allen kota I am from Mumbai and here you'll find only handfull (maybe 5-6) who are genius and enrolled in big coachings, while the other 99% students from these coachings are just wasting their parents money i feel. Its just that kota isn't able to produce air 1 in recent years, that doesn't mean that it is being outperformed

I was from Allen Guwahati and from 120 students around 14 got into iits that's a better selection rate than kota any day.

When I was in kota, i was travelling from my hostel to my couching ( i was very late that day that's why I preferred for auto) the auto diver was nearly 65 to 70 age. We were on road and then bit chit chat happened with him ( usually I ignore them) then a girl was passing her age was nearly 15-16 and maybe she was in 11th and that auto driver was telling to me - chapakali ja rahi hai, g@@nd dekh iski, mai to iska pani nikal du. And after listening it i was shocked how could this man speak like this, after he asked me ever i had did s&x in kota, i replied- uncle ap apna kaam kro na, again he told me don't worry take my card when ever you need just call me, I'll arrange for you, i was just shocked. And then i asked him to stop the auto and i get off from it. That was very horrifying for me because my younger sister was also about to come kota.
