I played against Jeremiah this past season and he is a great player but is complimented by Thompson having a top 10 defense out of any high school football team. I think his size at 6’2 will hold him back at the next level but he always plays fast and very intelligent.

Bama already has Anderson and Dallas Turner so why not ad another sick player on the edge? LOL! Rolltide! Alexander plays bigger than 230-235. Wait until he adds 10-12 lbs and some experience.

The biggest difference is the team factor. Sadly, DJ is in a team that has not gone gone to any major games. Mississippi may have great teams, but his team has not even shined within the state. He has yet to sack a single 2* quarterback. He may be as talented if not even more talented than some 4* edge rushers, but until he faces elite competition, he will not rise. What determines your ranking is not just how good you are, it is how good you are versus other good players. Think of 2020 Alabama facing Cincinnati.

Sharpe its has to do with the size of your school and who you play against that's why you see 1A school and 5A school cause the enrollment. So they say that Monster in Mississippi dont play against top notch comp and the Monster in Alabama as you said rank nationally, top in Alabama. But if you look about those 5star 4 star be the burst and 2 star 3 star fill roster and go to HOF in pros. If I had the equipment I would research who s is who is nfl and what school they from and what stars they was coming into college. Remember its only what 14 sec teams and over 300 schools with thousands of player. And at the end that's the last laugh. Love your page/content Sharpshooter keep up the great damn work..

It all comes down to elite competition. The team in Mississippi is not at the top. Rarely has he faced upper level competition. Whereas Jeremiah plays for one of the top teams in his program and that program is also nationally ranked. It’s harder trying to get on Coach’s and scouts radars from Mississippi whereas Alabama may not be like Florida, Texas, or California, but is large enough to where you can still see potential prospects. It’s not fair, and with the advancements in social media for more widespread communication, you’d think that problem would have been better by now

He lined up inside a lot. I'm thinking that Burgess should stay inside and bulk up some. At 280 he could be something inside. His size and play on the field indicates a 4 star guy to me.
