Matt Teufel the offensive lineman in cali at the D1-D3 level are mostly all going FBS, FCS, or D2 out of highschool. The smallest are like 6’2 265 and average is probably 6’4 275. I was on a D10 team and we had 3 offensive lineman who are playing on D1 teams. Idk what you mean by “soft” competition in Cali especially on the line of scrimmage. Kayvon was playing some good individuals 90% of the time, partly why he transitioned phenomenally.

not taking anything away from Grant's acceleration and tenacity but the speed is not his only weakness. No way he is 6'1, but even if he is, his arms are less than 6 ft across. Nothing you can do about genetics and plenty of guys have overcome short arms at the position (i.e. Brandon graham) but they do help. As for Thibbedeux. Kid is ridiculous. Elite speed + athleticism, NFL body, and a nice toolbox of moves for his age. He is going far.

Divisions in Illinois go from 1A to 8A with 8A being the largest. Sacred Heart Griffin is in 6A and is a perennial powerhouse. The Central State 8 is a relatively strong conference featuring Rochester who has won 7 State Championships in class 4A since 2005 and 3 in the last 4 years.

Sacred Heart bounces back and forth between 5A and 6A. There are 8 classes in Illinois football but I think they are mostly 6A now since they got the private school multiplier. . All of that will change this year likely with doing districts instead of conferences.

There are 8 divisions in Illinois.. 8A being the highest 1A being smallest according to student size and population of school. Sacred Heart Griffin High school is Class 6A in the CS8 conference most schools in the CS8 fall in the 5A or 4A class when it comes to the playoffs.... I know this video is old and you might not see this but Illinois football divisions is based on school size and it ranges from 1A-8A. 8A is the largest schools and is regarded as the best/ hardest division. SHG is a huge private school and football powerhouse in 8A. Btw the divisions with smaller numbers going from 7A-1A are typically worse the lower the number is so 7A is second hardest, 6A is third hardest and so on but there are some lower A teams that are amazing every once and a while that are regarded as better than others that are in higher A’s hopefully you see this love the vids

Won fastest man in Ohio and got a full ride to Cincinnati and offers to other big colleges like Ohio state. He won state champs In track with a long jump of 22.8 feet. And won 100 meter dash and 2x4. The best division in Illinois football is 8A. It's also the highest. Basically based on the amount of people at the school. The higher the division the higher the skill although. I believe it goes from 3A-8A. Private schools and Chicago and city schools are different too.

There are 8 divisions in Illinois and each is based on the number of students in the school. Unless you are a private school and go to the state title game in consecutive years. To bump back down you must miss the state title game 2 years in a row. Based on school population Sacred Heart Griffin is a 4a school, but because of the success rule they play 6a. If they don't make it this year they will go back down to 5a. My son goes there.
