Nice video and I've looking into buying a set of the current listings out there. But at ~$70 as pre-order with 6 current versions out there I decided to email Germania Mint. Their customer service stated that the "couldn't answer" the question of "If they will be doing the whole alphabet from Elder Futhark" which consists of 24 letters or symbols. So this leads to believe that they will mint each of them over a period of time, potentially making collecting an entire set might get rather costly. I'm not opposed to it as a longer-term flipping opportunity which, at 6 per year, would be a 4 year run on this series.

@campbells coins I think you should do a monthly video like this, and make a special title for it. Anything that is readily available, not necessarily new, that people may not know about. Like, I got my first Rooster coin the other day, I didn't know about them until recently. Just something like the Runes, Rooster, old or new, your pick for the month.

I was going to pass this up due to the price and because it's not easy to store like a round. But considering the specialty of it, with individual bags and boxes, low mintage, etc, I decided it may be a very good investment. I've started looking at other specialty items from MK Barz and Monarch as well. Diversify!

Generally speaking, silver pours are not a good investment. MK is extremely niche and lacks quality. Monarch isn't bad but again, niche. If you want an investment, stick to coins. Broader base of buyers.

@@fin59shawI don’t know much. I believe that they were used in norse writing and dialect with each having a specific meaning. I think sort of like Egyptian hieroglyphics. Today, old fat white dudes with beards like them cause they think they’re vikings and imagining themselves as norsemen (or vikings though that’s an action) really calls to them and their lack of real personality and life accomplishments 😂

I often give these away in giveaways, so no, I typically don't keep them. If you weren't upset, you wouldn't comment in the manner you have. I've alway been very open with my relationship with Germania, in all my videos. Why don't you share some of the other channels you watch and I'll point out, "the know it all of KZbin", the relationships they hide from their audience, not to mention the $10s of thousands they make off of you every month.

@@CampbellsCoins First of all you make good content and I mean no disrespect - and maybe the way I said this in the first place came out wrong as I saw these rune things being talked about at the same time on various US and European channels I in my feed. Now I watch your stuff because you keep things real and aren't a typical "silver to the moon" place and in fairness to you it (rune piece) wasn't pushed as some kind of viable investment strategy. I don't buy silver but I get the impression a lot of "collectible" silver items are foisted on silver bugs who are more likely to have less and so more likely to go for some kind of hail mary "investment" that is about wealth generation instead of wealth preservation
