Hi Alan! I am from Ukraine and I am extremely thankful that you send such a clear and strong message in the beginning of your videos. It´s really heartwarming to see one of my favorite KZbins care so much. Tbh, it is kinda surreal but not at the same time. My grandfather fought in WWII as a fighter pilot for the USSR, passed away in 2018 and you know, this is the rare occasion, when I am glad he did not live long enough to see this. I can only assume the shame he would feel, seeing the situation unfold. To fight fascist Germany, survive, only to be later invaded by the neighbor county he basically fought for as well. And yeah, there is nothing fun for us today, but let´s hope we will get through it somehow.

2014 with the hostile take-over of power from people who didn't resort to a referendum which led to a 8 year conflict and now a war. Approximately 40% of ukrainians said the coup was illegitimate and ever since then there has been conflict in the region. I wouldn't compare Ukraine to China since one is about civil rights issues and freedoms while the other about ideological extremism

One of the quirks from legends (that actually comes back into canon in Solo) that I always liked is that the Millennium Falcon has multiple Droid 'brains' running the ship. And I also had the utmost respect for your parents who gave up their whole lives to come to the West into a democracy. I spent over 20 years of my life in public safety, working as a paramedic. And I'll tell you right now if I had the financial means to go to the Ukraine via Poland I would do it in a heartbeat because I know they need medical people. But I can't do that so I'm trying to help out as much as I can and spread the word just like you. Please keep doing what you're doing and if you want to put out videos that are entirely about what's going on I will 100% support you as well a lot of the people on this channel and for the ones that don't who cares. Hi, guy from Poland here, really appreciate what you're doing, and for anyone saying it's political... Yes and no, this is fundamentally discussion about the future of humanity itself rn and how it deals with itself and yeah, as we know "humanity comes first" ! On a more serious note, if what's happening in Ukraine ends "badly" everyone is looking at Poland as a logical continuation, and yeah... I'm a 20 year old guy and it might sound stupid but I'm not gonna lie, I'm scared since I'm in the prime draft age, I love star wars , Warhammer etc..all types of war oriented fiction, but in real life, it's not that fun, I am not willing to die over someone's wallet, it doesn't mean I'm apathetic, there are ways we can fight a war of peace, because fundamentally what we are experiencing right now is a war between ones who want peace for humans and ones who don't, so do what you can people to help, those are the times you will be telling stories to your grandchildren, and what will you tell them? You are living through the moments mentioned in your grandchildren's history books, so let them be proud of you, I for one let a family stay in my place on their way towards UK, plan to help in this way more in the near future, I know most of this channels viewers are mostly from the US and other parts of the world further away, but again, something that takes you a few minutes and a minor inconvenience could save someone's life
