Jisso and jk are farther apart in views cause Armys prioritize streaming on spotify. Seven actually broke the record for the fastest song ever to get a billion streams on spotify

Jisoo song was viral on KZbin reels, it has 5M KZbin shorts with audio. That's why many views, plus blackpink has more subscribers. The most viral song of all time gangnam style has only 300-400M streams on Spotify. KZbin is the most used streaming app globally. A fanbase mass streaming a song on Spotify doesn't mean it's viral. Also fully English songs have advantage on Spotify. Even despacito the most viral song of all time doesn't have many Spotify streams.

@@movieedits1017 Seven went number 1 on hot 100, a chart that tells you exactly what the most popular song in the world is and flower didnt chart anywhere on the list, the general public has no idea what that song is but everyone knows seven. And you couldnt be more wrong, nowadays spotify is used way more for streaming then youtube and its not close. Just look at blinding lights, the most streamed song on spotify doesnt even have a billion views. As it was, has 2.8 billion streams, only 600 million views. Stay by kid laroi, 2.8 billion streams, 800 million views. Flowers by miley cyrus, 1.7 billion streams, 500 million views. You're naming songs that came out so long ago before spotify was that popular so its completely irrelevant but sense 2020, if you get more views then streams on spotify, its proof that you use ads which blackpink is known for and a lot of kpop groups. Thats the difference, blackpink will always be in the kpop category while bts is global and is competing with the biggest artist in the world. Spotify streams means viral sense people that hear the song aint gonna be like "let me go check out this music video", they'll be like "let me just go add this to my playlist real quick". Lol like who streams a music video when they wanna listen to a song? blackpink views come from blinks alone or they'd have more streams. It just proves that they've never made a song that went viral other then money

It is easy to see the true hits in kpop, a visual medium. You just need to look at their yt/spotify ratio. Songs like Dynamic, Money, Butter and Flower have a pretty good ratio of stream/view ratio. Songs like Seven,etc have severely distorted ratios.

@@David-wm5lc so does that mean blinding lights, as it was, stay, flowers (Miley Cyrus), watermelon sugar high are all inorganic? Literally any western song released nowadays, every single one will get waaaaay more streams then views, it’s never close and that’s cause people don’t have to watch the music video anymore when they wanna listen to music, that’s such a dumb thing to say. “If the same amount of people didn’t watch the music video as they did just listen to it on Spotify, it’s not organic”. How do you think viral songs work? No one gives a fuck about the music video, they just wanna listen to the song. Look at Cupid and new jeans songs. This isn’t 2018 anymore, nowadays if a song gets more views then streams, it’s cause of ads. End of story
