For those of you who didn't keep up with Chad when he was in hellyeqh. He did scream. Not too often, but he did, there was a point in hellyeahs touring where he would lose his voice worst than he did for this show. He's been getting progressively better. When hellyeah toured for undeniable Chad for a good while was able to scream well. That was his turning point tbh and that's when he was getting better. Bear with him, years of smoking, age and just depression has gotten to him. I'm sure a lot of you, me included, have lacked in one way or another because of those 3 things or more

WTF!!! this comment thread 😬. The sound guy that handled this may have messed up. Or Chads wireless directional Mic was junk. There was others throughout the fest that had issues. Example: Brent Hinds of Mastodon. His Mic was shit could hardly hear his parts. Unfortunately for Chad, his vocals was severely highlighted from cutting in and out. Him being the main vocalist of this performance. How could you not notice it. I thought the guitar was buried as well. Chad was using a wireless which he prefers. But if you listen to Gregs (back up vocals) Mic its almost perfect. Which It is a wired Mic. I could see calling it a shit show. If he was forgetting words and wasn't singing within the structure. But every time the volume came back he was right on spot of the song. I seen Hellyeah several times. And he was always in key on the beat and kicking ass. So if you wanna say hes old, or outta of it from being gone from Mudvayne, etc... Shows you know absolutely dog shit about music and reproducing it in a live setting. The vocals start before, on, or after the down beat. Show me where he is at fault for this horrible production mishap of volume. Cheers!

@G Pac bigger venues have better setups than what I've been around. I've seen skillet live and they were amazing even an 1/8, of a mile away. But that's because of multiple things. The location, the sound engineers, and the setup. Also because skillet is pretty good live as musicians. However as big as INK was this year they should've had better sound for mudvayne. But I believe it's a case of their sound engineer being the same one who's been with hellyeah for the last 5 years. And it's the same with hellyeahs sound. But there's no denying chad is not at the top of his game
