That Amityville Horror house is fake. One of the children actually came out and said it was all fake they did it for the money from the lawyer who was working with Ronnie. The people that moved in right after them said that there is nothing wrong with the house. And it had all original doors and windows so the door and never flew off. And no one's had any problems since then.

There was this trailer my family lived in when I was little and it turned out to be haunted, and we didn't know why until we moved out. When you first enter the house and turn right there is a small hall leading to the front bedroom and the bathroom, there was a smell there that we could never figure out where it was coming from, a small like blood that sat there too long, or dead flesh. And in the front bedroom that was me and my sister room, there were times red slashes that looked like blood appeared on the wall would appear and than vanish. Not to mention at night in that room it looked like a man would be standing over an injured woman, and if you noticed him he would look up and glare at you. That same man also didn't like men in the house, he would get violent in the way of breaking windows in on people in that front room. And do his best to get men out of the house. When we moved out we found out a guy caught his wife cheating on him with a another man and he killed her and the man she was cheating on him with. And before trial he hung himself in his cell. .......that would have been something I would have like to know before moving in, not as an oh by the way when I was moving out.

The Amityville house was up for sale a few months ago. I don't remember if it has been bought. As for the Winchester mansion, Sarah's husband and child died, so she saw a medium. The medium said that the two were killed due to the vengeful spirits of those killed by her husband's rifle. The only way to appease them was to build constantly. Sarah got designs for the rooms by consulting/channeling the spirits and it's alleged that it's a maze in the mansion in an effort to confuse the spirits so they won't be able to harm her. She also felt 13 was a lucky number for her.

I know the real reason Sarah added to the house: she was hearing and seeing ghosts and they told her she had to keep building to the house or she will die but she did not want a proper house so she kept building to trick the ghosts. Then she died a few years later after she started.!

Ayman, hate to creep you out further, but if your place wasn't robbed check it for cameras. As scary as it is to think someone could have broken in & been waiting to attack when you got home, they could opt just to watch you. If I ever came home & found my door unlocked, I would not step foot inside until the police have thoroughly checked it for an intruder, made sure nothing was stolen, checked for any secretly installed cameras, then I'd change my locks & the Wi-Fi & security settings for every device I own. I'm maybe a little paranoid about being watched when I'm home alone.
